Food Quality and Taste

Pros:

  • "The food was phenomenal. I really enjoyed every bite of it."
  • "The smash burger contained two patties. The meat wasn’t as tender as I would have liked it but the rest of the burger made up for it as it brought out other flavours."
  • "The meat was incredibly succulent and tender, so it was practically melting as I would chew it."
  • "The Wagyu burger was pretty poor and not worth £13.50, very little meat, too oily and padded out with lettuce and turkey bacon."

Cons:

  • "Both the burgers were quite average.. there was no flavour even though they looked so tempting."
  • "The only thing that was nice were the wings."
  • "The chicken burger you get on Deliveroo is not the one pictured from the restaurant! For delivery they share kitchen with the Korean Fry Chicken place next door."
  • "Very sad, arrived with soggy undercooked chips, low quality burger with no finesse."

Service and Staff

Pros:

  • "The service was really good, the staff was kind, accommodating and friendly."
  • "The staff are very helpful and friendly especially Claudia."
  • "Customer service couldn’t be any better, first let off with a bit of money, shop allowed us to eat in near closing times didn’t show a single speck of attitude."
  • "The staff did a great job overall. Much better compared to many similar shops in Walthamstow."

Cons:

  • "I felt compelled to do so due to the unpleasant attitude displayed by the manager, Ana, and the establishment's owners."
  • "Restaurant did not offer us any compensation for the hair in his burger which shows very bad customer service."
  • "The manager was shockingly dismissive of my complaints as well."
  • "The gentleman who was serving us was very nice however the lady who was giving us drinks was being very weird about it."

Ambiance and Decor

Pros:

  • "The place has an interesting decor and great service overall."
  • "The restaurant looks very interesting and it was honestly a great experience."
  • "The atmosphere fits a traditional gourmet burger setting."
  • "The seatings and space are nice, because the layout allows room to walk to and where you need to go without making you feel like you’re climbing on others."

Cons:

  • "As for the atmosphere, they need to make it a bit bright.. i get that the interior is supposed to have a rusty graffiti vibe but still it needs to be updated."
  • "The chocolate milkshake was a bit of a let down, tasted more like vanilla then chocolate and was quite underwhelming."
  • "The previous family run company was far much better (Brioche burger). There is nothing special in the menu and the burgers are quite pale."
  • "The atmosphere was cold and uninviting, and the food was similarly underwhelming."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Quality food, really good service, very clean and reasonably priced!"
  • "The burgers were nice and tender, however, it seemed very artificial especially after how mine and my friends stomach reacted towards it."
  • "The burgers were amazing, the meat was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the staff were super friendly when we phoned to check about my partners allergy."
  • "Nice place, gives nearby Proper Burger a run for its money. Short and sweet simple menu."

Cons:

  • "Honestly, not sure what the hype is about. Overpriced for the portion and the taste of the food."
  • "I used to go to this place often but they’ve started to drastically and embarrassingly reduce portion sizes."
  • "It's been a while since I've been to B.O.B and I was very disappointed. The food was overpriced and didn't taste as good as I remember."
  • "Went to try the hype yesterday. But wasn't impressed. Brioche Burger is the winner from miles away. Sad that such a great little Burger joint went away to be replaced by a commercial one."
