  • "Awful food. Microwaved pasty, chips were cooked in oil that needed changing."
  • "The lunch quality was very average."
  • "Food came quickly but was immediately evident that if the main restaurant and hotel gained its rosettes rightfully, either the management, chef or both has changed, or their priority for walkers and casual lunch goers is rock bottom."
  • "Went for afternoon tea..... £16 a pop and it was awful."
  • "Breakfast was underwhelming, the food may have been good quality, but was the worst fry up I've had in a long time."
