Accommodation

Pros:

• "The lodge was large, 3 bedrooms, a decent kitchen, a medium sized lounge, dining area, seating 6 people, oh! and of course sleeping 6 people, warm with a really good central heating system, two bathrooms with showers, and our hot tub was wonderful."
• "The Lodge we booked, we understood to be new, wasn't and wasn't prepared to be occupied, garden overgrown, couple of cleaning issues, back view so glad they offered to transfer us to a front lodge, which was so much better location."
• "The lodge itself was decorated to a high standard."
• "Stayed in a yurt (£90 a night). Yurt was clean and well equipped."

• "The Lodge we were given was not updated in the past 15 years probably, while some 'wear and Tear' is acceptable, in this case, the place was falling apart."
• "The second lodge had no running hot water and we couldn't shower for over 24 hours."
• "The farmhouse is spacious for 8 adults and comfortable however a little run down and unloved, cleaning could have been more thorough."
• "However when we got inside the Lodge we were very surprised the Lodge had a makeover so everything was clean and tidy."
• "Very small and un-maintained pitch, barely wide enough for my small 2 berth caravan and awning."
• "The surrounding bushes were overgrown with nettles and encroaching about 1-2 foot on the pitch."

Staff and Service

• "Lovely people all very helpful especially Andrew, nothing too much trouble for any of them."

• "The boat trips looked lovely as were the surroundings."

• "The showers were clean but some of the panels near the bottom were looking worse for wear."
• "Swimming pool was dirty with rust pitted railings and side tiling which urgently needs cleaning."

Location and Accessibility

Pros:

• "Very quiet area which is good if you're looking to relax and unwind however the centre is in the middle of nowhere so it's quite a drive to get to places."
• "Lovely peaceful place."
• "Beautiful surroundings and views, but during my time there it seems like its In need of some TLC."
• "Enjoyed some quiet time, fishing, walking and eating great food in the pub restaurant."

Cons:

• "The access when towing a caravan is terrible too, the last 3 miles are single track winding lanes."
• "No social distancing in place, tents on top of one another."
• "The yurt looked a bit shabby on the outside."
• "Overpriced, bad attitude at reception. No pool. No Wifi yet included in price."
• "Booked in with Motorhome for 3 nights, was put on a pitch under trees surrounded by hedges - horrible dark unkempt scruffy hole!"
• "The only downside is that it's on the wrong side of the river: you need to get ferry to get to all the footpaths on Broads."
