Garden Centre

Pros:

  • "Good selection of hardy plants for the winter, also love the Christmas decorations."
  • "Vast range of products. Much more than a garden centre. Clean, tidy & well organised."
  • "First time I have been, a huge selection of plants and flowers, me and my friend had liver bacon and veg, melted in my mouth. I bought 2 plants for my garden, well impressed."
  • "The plants always look healthy and they have a good variety."
  • "Nice Garden centre with a wide range of plants + trees also stocks tools, bird food, pond supplies, garden furniture."
  • "Well-stocked garden centre, lots of various and healthy plants, helpful staff, wide range of garden accessories."
  • "Always great selection of plants, and usually better quality than I’ve seen in other cheaper nurseries and garden centres."

Cons:

  • "It is a lovely garden centre but very expensive."
  • "Some of the non-plant items are a little expensive."
  • "Fair selection of plants, although being honest was somewhat disappointed at limited range on show, especially in the tree section."
  • "Really nice garden centre well furbished with a lovely cafe and florist. The only fault to this place is it is so so much more expensive than other garden centres in the area."
  • "The Garden Centre hasn't changed much in recent years and really needs to review it's gift shop items."
  • "The only negative point is the prices of the plants which, by comparison with other garden centres, are quite expensive."
  • "Garden centre a little on the expensive side for some items but some unique products ie garden ornaments."

Cafe

Pros:

  • "The coffee shop is great. Sells amazing food."

Cons:

  • "Great garden centre but cafe very poor we both had lasagne with was still cold in the middle."
  • "However we ordered the Hot Beef sandwich which turned out to be just pre-cooked sliced beef with gravy. It was very average."
  • "Nice place, big extended eating area with plenty of seating. Food sparse but nice. My cake was dry and the cream was off."
  • "Cafe food was poor quality and not really worth the prices charged."
  • "The cafe is nice, however all types of coffee are the same, latte, cappuccino or flat white, just hot milk, nothing else to it."
  • "Very disappointing service in the cafe."
  • "Lovely garden centre, but won't be going to the cafe again, I ordered cheese and onion quiche with chips, the quiche had been put in the microwave and then left to go cold so was inedible and the chips were still white and barely warm."

Staff

Pros:
