  • "The best burger and chips I have ever had .... Good beer and price, food for three of us was brilliant."

Cons:

  • "A person who I could only think of as the owner called his staff muppets in front of me, a customer! As a management person I could think of nothing worse! Food well presented however mussels were tiny for the cost!"
  • "The turkey baguette on the other hand was terrible, the turkey was not cooked properly."
  • "The batter fish was heavily battered and the portion was big. The chips were the worst chips I have ever had, over cooked and dry."
  • "The 'Crab and lobster liguine' has mussels included, more mussels than crab or lobster."
  • "Awful awful food at outrageous prices. Mussels were like tiny bullets in zero sauce and veggie burger was burnt."
  • "The mussels were full of grit because they hadn’t been washed properly and the chicken paella was the worst I have tasted in quite a while."
  • "Long waiting time for the food, burger dry and overcooked, steak tough, vegetarian lasagna burnt and tasteless."

  • "Very friendly hard working staff. Had the 3 course lunch for £9.50. Good size helpings."
  • "Had a lovely good value £10 pie of the day lunchtime meal here."

Cons:

  • "How do you justify charging £6.80 for a pint of Guinness, when a few minutes away is a pub selling the self same drink for £2 less?"
  • "Good cidar slightly pricey but I'm assuming the pub us a tied house."
  • "How this place can justify their astronomical prices is beyond me."
  • "Got overcharged! asked for a beef sandwich listed as £7 on the menu but got charged £9 on my card."
  • "Prices can be high on selected beers, example Birra Moretti £6.70 per pint which is ridiculously priced."
  • "Very expensive for what it is. Nearly £55 for a wine, a pint of squash, an ok veggy linguine and a rack of ribs plus chicken."
  • "However, the price of a pint of Korev was steep at £6.20."

  • "Only downfall is finding somewhere to park."
  • "The pub itself had a very run down aesthetic which did not make for pleasant dining."
  • "Rather disappointing. Do not know whether it has changed hands but menu was very limited and my partner's crab sandwich was poor."
  • "Didn't get the order right then took back beef sandwiches then even took some chips off plate we all don't want dressing on our salads will not ever come back again very disappointed."
  • "Didn't eat a main meal due to the speed of service, however food prices seemed a little steep for what was a basic offering."
  • "Such a shame the food was lovely but not one member of staff was wearing a mask! I will not be returning unless this situation changes it made me feel really uncomfortable."
