  • "A clean and comfortable hotel with everything you may need. Lovely large room with lots of natural light."
  • "Stayed overnight while working lovely clean spacious room friendly staff didn't eat so can't comment bit awkward parking as I was in 3.5 ton van but free car park metres away 6pm - 8am I parked in loading bay."
  • "A lovely attic room. Small but sweet. Clean and fresh and very welcoming at the end of a long day."

Cons:

  • "Stayed here for three nights Monday 28th Jan. Wow, what can we say. Everybody from the bar staff to the cleaners and the receptionists were fantastic. Cannot say enough about them all. Everywhere was spotless. Our room was fantastic, wow for the en-suite, again spotless. We were snowed in on the Wednesday, but staff kept the open fire topped up as we sat in two comfortable chairs all morning. Food was excellent, breakfast was very good. Full marks to all concerned, Keep up the good work. We will be back"
  • "We stayed in room 107 and could hear every sound from the bar clean up downstairs. The constant sound of an extractor that sounded like a jet engine throughout the night resulted in one of the worst nights sleep we've ever had."
  • "I am disabled and was given a room with 52 stairs to climb."
  • "Rooms : Large clean & fairly quiet (the air conditioning on the roof across from our room was a bit loud but you couldn't hear the pub below)."
  • "It was chilly in the room, asked about why the fire was not on, oh it was but lack of staff, a little later, it was still very chilly and the air conditioning was blowing out cold air, was told only the manager could see to it, we were there for an hour and a half and still nothing was done about the heating! Kept our coats on all the time 😕"

  • "The staff were interested in speaking into there head phone's than servicing there customers, tables were dirty the person who served us was very rude, there attention to servicing was rubbish."
