Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Overall very good value for money!!! Food is reasonably priced and also tasty!!!"
  • "There is plenty of food on offer at very reasonable prices for a theme park, and the Coffee was very very nice."
  • "I would recommend it. Lots to do, lots to see and I think it is good value for money."
  • "For the price you pay (about £17 per adult) you fully get what you pay for."
  • "Food is fantastic and not over priced."
  • "£60 to get in for a family of four which is fairly reasonable I would say."

Cons:

  • "The price was quite expensive considering. We paid for a family of 4 2 adults 2 children £72."
  • "It's more expensive than it was a few years ago."
  • "Food places are expensive, especially if you have a larger family."
  • "The tokens are a little expensive so you do need about £20 purely for the rides."
  • "Some food outlets were expensive but that is to be expected."
  • "Bought tickets online, expensive for a family day out."
  • "A bit expensive to get in but we'll worth it for a family of 4, a whole day can easily be spent there, so much to do."

Animal Enclosures

Pros:

  • "The new sea lion enclosure is amazing to watch and great for them."
  • "Close encounter with the tigers at the bottom part of their enclosure was amazing."
  • "All animals look healthy, content and have plenty of space."
  • "The animals are well looked after and have plenty room to be happy."
  • "Seeing Giraffes and Elephant so close to us was such a wholesome experience."
  • "You get a chance to drive through enclosures with several animals including; lions, monkeys, a few types of deer/cows and rhinos."
  • "The animals gave a great viewing of their characters."

Cons:

  • "However I do feel the enclosures are pretty small."
  • "Some of the animals had small enclosures, particularly the birds where in the wild they would fly or migrate large distances and; amongst some other animals, seemed depressed or stressed."
  • "The most horrible part is the birds of prey section... Birds should be held in natural environments... not sitting in a secluded area on fake branches with artificial grass."
  • "The only real disappointment I had was that there was only 1 elephant and it didn't look happy."
  • "Some of the enclosures make me sad though!"
  • "The elephant in particular just looked so unhappy!"
  • "Sadly the Sea Lions weren't available to see as their enclosure is getting some work done."

Facilities and Accessibility

Pros:

  • "My Wife is disabled and uses a Mobility Scooter, there were absolutely no issues with access to all areas and viewing platforms."
  • "Alot of the park is wheelchair friendly, I didn't see anywhere a wheelchair couldn't go! Carers are also free entry."
  • "If you have limited mobility you have the option of using all three car parks to reduce walking as they are situated strategically around the park."
  • "There is no trouble with access to the viewing balconies."
