Layout and Accessibility

Pros:

• "OK selection of shops but with a weird layout- it’s a good few minutes walk from one side to the other, with nothing in between."
• "Complex layout though with many confusing roads and roundabouts: certainly doesn't allow the traffic to flow well."
• "Took a friend here Christmas shopping, a great choice of shops plenty of parking, and places to eat, just a little spread out, eg from marks and Spencer to TK Max was an 11 minute walk, or a 4 minute drive."
• "It's a place with shops. Traffic is often very congested due to poor design. But if you like shops then this place has some of them, spread over three disconnected areas that you have to drive between."

Parking

Pros:

• "Ample parking but can be very busy at usual peak times and days."
• "The later it gets the busier, so get there earlier to get a good parking space."
• "A good selection of shops. There is New Look, Hobbycraft, Blacks, W H Smiths, Smyths Toystore, Outfit, H & M, Boots, Marks & Spencer's, Next and Matalan, to name a few. And free parking for unlimited time, except in Asda car park."

Cons:

• "Horrific road access at busy times with long queues and tiny car parking spaces- if you can get one."
• "Awful for disabled shoppers! Visited here to go shopping, no where near enough disabled parking spaces."
• "The car park is huge so there is always space. However, it's a little bit tight and windy, so if you go there when is busy you can easily be there way too long both trying to get in, and out, of the car park."
• "Parking was ample. Only popped into Next and Curry's but received great customer service in both stores. The Asda is also a good size. Had visited previously. Although not an extensive visit, a positive experience all round. Would return."

• "Love to shop in this place. Plenty of large retail businesses including supermarkets and a petrol station."
• "Great place with lots of retail outlets sort of a little town lol there's the first little part with places like boots, smiths and food and coffee places then the middle larger are Asda NEXT Matalan again more food and a place to grab a coffee (NEXT)"
• "Always busy. Lots of lovely shops. If your hungry lots of places to eat in or take away. Asda, aldi, sainsburys. Primark, M&S, sports direct, Pets at Home, Poundland, Home Bargains, Black's and lots more."

• "The price of the clothes it’s not worth it I got pj set from here and the first day of purchase all the stitches come out wasn’t not impressed at all disgusting I can get the pj sets cheaper off SHEIN and be better quality clothes definitely won’t be coming back"

Have the satnav ready to guide you to the specific place you want to go to as it's quite difficult to navigate."
• "To many empty shops, feels like a Ghost town. What is the council doing about this? Are they trying to bring in new businesses. How many charity shops do any town need???? Why are the lifts still 'out of order' they have been like that since December I know of.😡 This us not exceptable, I have 'COPD' if I cannot park on the same level of the shops I have to drive away. ☹"
