"Wasn't very comfortable sat in those tight seats."
"The seats are far too close together with no space for you to sit comfortably."
"The seating in the dress circle leaves a lot to be desired, rather uncomfortable, and not much in the way of leg room."
"Chairs are quite uncomfortable after a while and very limited leg room."
"You will have no leg room."
Staff and Service
Pros:
"Great staff but I was up in the Gods at the rear of the Grand circle."

"Staff are always lovely."
"The staff, especially the guys on the door and checking tickets, were extremely nice, friendly, helpful and welcoming."
Cons:
"No help what so ever if you're autistic. We promised someone would come to our seat to tell us when there would be load bangs etc during the show. No one ever came to tell us."
"A mature chap was frustrated and asked the woman with glasses if he could be served. The young chap was very rude and refused to serve him!"
"The staff are there but not helpful or particularly friendly like a lot of other theatres I've been to."
"The staff were a waste of time the shift manager that was on duty was no were to be seen."
"Sadly our experience was ruined by the lady behind the Bar on the top floor."
"I did not care for the way in which the same staff member spoke to me."
"The customer service was so poor. The ladies behind the bar must have looked at me 8 times each, yet did not serve me."
Facilities and Accessibility
Pros:
"Parking nearby, decent bar for interval drinks and even a couple of private booths if you want to drink in peace!"
"There were good facilities for those with disabilities."
"The theatre is a stunning, sympathetically upgraded Victorian venue, which is progressive enough to host both modern and classic productions."
"Beautiful old fashioned theatre good location right in the middle of Wolverhampton plenty of parking and train and bus station about a 5 min walk."
"Easy to get to on public transport with the bus and train station just a short walk away."
"Disabled friendly, card and cash payment available, parking is not available on site but is available nearby."
"You can travel to The Grand by train, tram, bus or car; plenty of parking within walking distance."
Cons:
"Poor disabled facilities. Lovely theatre, but the accessible toilet on the ground floor is tiny."
"No social distancing at all packed in like sardines even though there were seats available."
"It's a pity they don't put on many plays these days."
"Difficult to try and park near it."
"As for the venue itself, it is very old and dated, and the seating on the top of the arena is so tight, dark and hard to manoeuvre around."
"Disabled toilets only for selected disability that they see fit. Autism is not seen as a reason to use them."
"I was most disappointed with the service and have refused to attend a show at this theatre."
Value and Pricing
Pros:
"The price of drinks at the interval were about what you would expect but not overpriced."
"Drinks and snacks are a reasonable price, just what you'd expect at such a venue."
"Normally refreshments are extortionate at theatres but pleasantly surprised to have brought three drinks, popcorn and 2 bags of sweets for £20."
"Great prices for many shows here and 2 fully stocked bars with refreshments and drinks available to buy."
Cons:
"£4 booking fee? What exactly is that £4 booking fee covering???"
"However, I did not like the fact that £4 was added onto the ticket price (£20 ticket, £24 total). This is regardless of whether you pay by card or cash."
"A little pricey but captive audience."
"Drinks and snacks are extortionate, stalls are rather packed, even more than pre-covid."
"Prices of refreshments are high but that's the same with most theatres."
"Totally overpriced beer to almost exponential prices???"
"Went to see Rockorchestra in the grand theatre, the seats are very compact but ok. I was more surprised about the price for a glass of rose wine £9.25 I do think this is overpriced for the wine you get."

"Enjoyed our night at the grand a beautiful old theater. We went to see Jersey boys and enjoyed the show up to a point. I admit the tickets said limited view so did expect this, but it was at least a ¼ to a ⅓ of the stage i could not see."
"The show I thought was very disappointing and although similar in script to Susan Hills novel the audience made a comedy out of it which I had not gone to see Very disappointing cannot be compared to the masterpiece of a book."
"Not my usual rating but very disappointed with the extremely limited view of a recent show (Club Tropicana)."
"The sound quality in the grand circle was quite poor."
