Quality of Pastries

Pros:

  • "Every pastry that I've got was packed with flavour different techniques and textures."
  • "We indulged in the small plate that featured an assortment of croissants, each boasting distinct flavors that were very delicious."
  • "Vanilla tart is like out of heaven for dessert lovers."
  • "They are really delicate and multilayered flavour pastries."
  • "Best pastries I’ve ever had by far!"

Cons:

  • "For the croissant and pain au chocolat they were below the average unfortunately, expected something better."
  • "We got the small cookie, pain au chocolate, egg tart, and the new pistachio cookie. Some was too sweet for me."
  • "The plain croissant only has a slight taste of butter. Its not crunchy enough on the outside and the inside is not as good as you’d expect."
  • "Tried beautiful raspberry cookie. Paid 25£ (30€) for 1 cookie. It was tasteless, couldnt even finish it."
  • "Massively overpriced, really disappointed. The packaging, staff and experience would’ve been lovely, were it not for the fact the cake was really disappointing."

  • "The service was very friendly."
  • "The staff are friendly and welcoming. I will visit it next time."
  • "Staff is very nice and extremely attentive."

  • "The service was Terrible! I had a server blatantly ignore me."
  • "Service is a fundamental aspect of dining out, and it was sorely lacking."
  • "The staff is not kind and not trying to help you."
  • "The service was terrible with one member of staff physically moving us out of the way without saying excuse me or anything for that matter."

Price and Value

Pros:

  • "It's a bit pricy, I can understand that, but I highly recommend it cause overall it's an experience."

  • "Artisanal baking at it’s finest form. It really does not get better than this."
  • "Amazing cafe and some of the best baked goods in London. Not only beautiful but exquisitely tasty."

Cons:

  • "However, it's worth noting that the overall experience comes with a high price tag."
  • "The prices aren't written for the over the top expensive items."
  • "I took 4 chocolate cookies for my husband and friends, there was no price next to it but who would ever thought a cookie can cost £20 each."
  • "The prices are ridiculous, I ordered a Pain au Chocolat and paid £7 pounds which is double the amount of any chocolate croissant at any upscale bakery."
  • "£20 cookie anyone? But boy was it an indulge. The rest of the pastries were top notch."
