Location & Environment

Pros:

• "In the heart of the New Forest on a cricket-pitch of a field with excellent drainage... surrounded by beautiful forest and open land and deer."
• "The woods around here are beautiful and there are loads of good paths that can be ridden or cycled on."

Wildlife & Nature Experience

Pros:

• "We sat there and seen lots of wildlife in the evening including deer, bats and birds including a goshawk!"
• "The deer come through the camping field and can wake you up at night when they are eating outside your tent but that is the charm."
• "A deer herd often come into the field next to site at night which is just magical to see."
• "During the night deer roam around which is nice to see if you're a late nighter or early riser."
• "Watching the deer was mesmerising but slightly alarming to be met by a herd of them on a middle of the night toilet visit!"
• "We usually see herds of deer in the surrounding fields."
• "Seeing the deer in the middle of the field is really special, and the no bbqs after 9pm makes total sense as the deer come so close they could easily knock it over causing disaster."

• "Gorgeous campground inside the New Forest you do have to clear the wild animal poop from your pitch but it's shower and bath facilities are lovely."
