Cleanliness

  • "Toilets are clean and well maintained."
  • "The toilets were busy, but modern and large, with around 16 cubicles. They are clean, and I have no complaints about how they are maintained as they were tidy."
  • "Very clean and bright restrooms too."
  • "Restroom was very clean also there was a game section for kids."
  • "Clean toilets for a comfort break."

Cons:

  • "Toilets weren't the cleanest and could do with some more attention."
  • "Not enough staff to keep the seating area's hygiene to anything other than sticky."
  • "Toilets let it down. Very busy but men's were dirty."
  • "Dirty dirty dirty.... sticky tables, filthy toilets couldn't wait to leave!"
  • "Although there were 3 staff, everywhere extremely dirty. Customer service was horrible."

  • "clean great choice of food, enjoyed a thai red curry with noodles and a honey chicken nuggets in batter, great price good quantity."

Cons:

  • "Expensive and soul-less - only exists to extort money from travellers."
  • "It's a service station, so overpriced and underlovely."
  • "Arrived for break after concert in London 1.30am no hot food with only smiths open. Very poor as this should be providing a service stop for not only daytime travelers but people who travel through the night."
  • "Didn't think the food on offer was all that great so bought a sandwich & coffee in WHSmiths. We didn't come back on the return journey!!!!!!!!"
  • "Like most UK services, your options are limited to mostly unhealthy fast food."
  • "Only down side for me is that Starbucks could serve better coffee."
  • "Overpriced everything, working toilets, and did I mention everything is over priced?"

Parking and Accessibility

Pros:

  • "South services is bright clean spacious and ample parking."
  • "Car park is easy to navigate around. Well lite also in the evening."
  • "Loads of parking space and a stand alone eat in/drive thru Starbucks."
  • "At the time of our visit there were lots of available parking positions many not too far from the building that housed the facilities."
  • "Lots of parking outside including electric vehicle charging stations."

Cons:

  • "Parking was annoying; why they had to put the charge points in the first row of parking at the entrance is beyond me."
  • "Parking is not the best organised and signs and lines for exit are poor and confusing."
  • "Way too small for the number of people trying to just it. Queue of cars up the slip road to get into the too small car park."
  • "My only complaint would be the confused parking layout... Drivers seem to be guided towards the entrance which is a dead end."
  • "It's NOT SAFE to park here 3 thief's they tried to steal from the trailer."
  • "Beware of the parking SCAM."
  • "Parking place payed? Ridiculous... In the middle of the motorway in England you have to pay to park?"
