Staff and Service

Pros:

• "We spoke to a member of staff called Ethan who was brilliant. He went above and beyond to find us an available member of staff so our kids could go on the climbing wall."

• "The lady that ushered us out was extremely rude and watched outside eating the ice cream and then proceeded to follow us on re-entering the pier."

• "When we arrived at the climbing wall we were told to come back at 7pm for the next time slot. When we came back there wasn't any staff manning the climbing wall as the staff had gone home which was disappointing."

• "Arcades are a great mix of some old school machines I haven't seen since I was a kid and some new ones for the xbox generation."

• "It's nothing like it used to be sadly like many seaside places."
• "The vast majority of the pier is taken up by a huge amusement arcade. If you want to spend money on arcade games and amusements while being deafened by music then you will find this place fun and will be entertained for hours on end. For me however I found the arcade part of the pier horrific and couldn't get out quickly enough."

Cleanliness and Maintenance

• "Always a great spot to sit on a warm, sunny day either with a drink, ice cream or donuts. Friendly vendors and staff and the area is usually very clean."

• "The toilets are disgusting, with the hand basin taps barely working and the automatic hand drier not working."
• "The pier itself is really in need of a good overall, it looks quite dull and shabby in my opinion, could do with a good lick of paint."
• "There is also a soft play area here but it isn't very big and looks very dirty could do with a deep clean."
