  • "Moreover, there is a small store available at the station where passengers can purchase snacks and other essentials for their trips."
  • "The mobility lounge was great for my mum for somewhere to sit."
  • "There’s a snack store in the building to top up your stomach and a Sainsbury just the next build."
  • "The National Express services are great here. The coaches are clean and they have charging ports."
  • "They are quite cheap and they travel to many airports."
  • "From a coach driver’s point of view, I find it a welcome place to refresh oneself after a long drive."
  • "There’s a choice of refreshment outlets with many offering discounts for drivers…"

Cons:

  • "The station in general is very dirty. The toilets in the arrival section absolutely cannot be used, they are so so filthy."
  • "The waiting area - Gate 12 to 19 needs significant improvement. Steel chairs should be replaced with cushion chairs."
  • "The surroundings are an embarrassment for what is one of the biggest and most famous city in the world. No coffee/refreshments machines in the Arrivals section"
  • "Place is too cold at night, cold steel chairs to sit on, chairs to prevent sleeping yet completely fails at deterring beggars especially at night."
  • "The waiting area is too small and when people are queuing at a gate they block the passing area at the back."
  • "It’s the ticket office and modern buses you want not the debris of London."
  • "You lucky you got 1 star, dirty, crowded, uncomfortable, no where to sit, no air. no notice boards showing gates around 12~20"
  • "It's cold and uninviting place that has pigeons flying constantly and the seating options are limited..."

Toilet Facilities

Pros:

  • "The disabled toilets are clean."
  • "Visiting the toilet facilities will set you back 20p, but they are reasonably clean and well maintained..."
  • "The toilets were clean and free."
  • "Toilets are disgusting paying 30pence for what it's a health and safety issue been going on coaches these last few months regularly nothing change s no problem in other areas."

Cons:

  • "My children had to use the loo, - I wish they didn’t… they were disgusting! Toilet seats were dirty, and waste on the floor."
  • "The toilets are disgraceful…. Considering that VCS is a major transport terminal and used by millions of people from all over the world, it makes me feel ashamed."
  • "Worst and dirtiest Toilets, No soap, broken dispenser, toilet doors and locks broken, dirty seats, bad smell everywhere."
  • "The toilets are as filthy as ever, the staff mostly Nigerian and rude and they’ve put little signs on the plug points warning of arrest if you try to charge your phone!"
  • "The coach station itself is pretty clean and fairly easy to navigate around if you come during the day however the later you are travelling the more you have to rely on yourself to get to where your going as there tends to be barely any staff late at night."
  • "The toilets are probably one of the worst I've seen in a public area. They are just downright disgusting and incredibly unclean."
  • "I think it's 30 years since I was last there and apart from a Pret, it seems to be much the same. Feels too cramped for the number of travellers and very little space to sit down."
  • "One star for the absolutely unhygienic, disgusting blocked toilets."

Staff and Customer Service

Pros:

  • "The presence of a reception area, where friendly staff members are available to help guide passengers to the correct platforms and provide information regarding bus-related queries."
  • "I don't know the driver's name but he drove the coach at this time. He made sure everybody was safe, I was really anxious about my phone being dead because of my ticket and offered for me to use his power bank."
  • "Great Coach Station, staff very helpful!"
  • "At Victoria on the way home a very pleasant young man on Door for Cambridge was very good giving full explanations for what was happening he was engaging and professional sadly didn’t get his name. His crowd management skills first class and I teach crowd management."
  • "The staff selling tickets are invariably polite efficient and friendly. I have bought tickets here many times."
  • "A lovely lady who works at Victoria coach station named Ruby went above and beyond to get me where I needed to go. I was an absolute mess and she was extremely kind and helpful."
  • "Would like to say a big thank to all the staff at Victoria coach station, so very helpful and got us on an earlier coach to get to Ipswich, otherwise it would have a very late coach, my friend and I would have been stuck on our own at 2 am waiting to get home to Felixstowe, but the staff got us on an earlier one, so very grateful to the great service."
  • "After reading some of the negative reviews here, I was hoping for the worst. Surprisingly the staff were helpful and not rude at all this time round. I gave my booking details and was directed to my gate very quickly."

Cons:

  • "I aint been to London Victoria Coach Station in about 20 years and we as a family decided to travel by coach as going abroad! I think it will be another 20 years before we come back.. The place is filthy, toilets are disgusting and there is noone available for customer service to show you where your coach will be."
  • "If I could give it minus stars I would. The coach station is not fit for purpose. Overcrowded, poorly laid out, lack of useful staff, nowhere near enough customer waiting areas, contradicting coach service information boards and the toilets aren’t fit for human use - they are vile."
  • "Disability assistance area had a rude Nigerian woman working in it. Not polite at all & stood over me to demand I remove my charger."
  • "The service provided at this coach station is absolutely dreadful. We had our coach tickets which said that we left the station for Plymouth at 18:00, when we arrived we couldn’t see our coach on the departure board so we asked for help and we were told that a mistake had been made with our ticket and that the coach had actually left at 17:00."
  • "Very rude staff, shamefull people with just the British passport thinking they got all the right to treat other people like garbage."
  • "This place must change as the cycle of abuse is continuing. The staff is very rude and unresponsive. Often they don’t even move from the chair when you ask them about something. Arguing or name calling customers belongs to the regular behaviour."
  • "The man at reception needs more training on customer service as he was very rude and condescending to myself and some other people."
  • "Was going to leave a decent review until two horrible things happened back to back. First, I saw the yellow vested security wake people up using their feet to shake the person by the stomach and laughing about it."
