Reception and Staff

Pros:

  • "It was really lovely to have received such a warm welcome by Angie (one of the receptionist), she was professional, kind and very personable and she made me instantly feel comfortable, she made an appointment for me this afternoon to see a Doctor."
  • "Went to the Sinfin surgery on 1/3/22 and again on 2/3/22 and was met by the receptionist Angie on both occasions. Today was a shock for me, both days she had a big smile on her face, she was friendly, polite, professional and caring."

I decided to make a formal complaint which is ongoing and was surprisingly phoned today by the New! 'Patient Liaison & Communications Manager, Julie Sampson, who reassured me that my complaints were valid and that they will be looked into thoroughly."
  • "I phoned up and was way down in the queue so requested a call back. Called me back within 45 minutes and spent time with me organizing shingles jab, flu jab etc and online registration."
  • "Difficult time for GP surgeries at the moment and especially for the reception staff who are the frontline dealing with patients who are often frustrated and angry at not being able to access their GP but have just spoken to Kal on the phone who was very friendly and helpful."

  • "The reception staff are rude and unhelpful. Another family member has found it quicker and easier to move surgery to get an appointment."

  • "CALL BACK is the way forward. Very courteous service."
  • "The phone line opened up for me at 08:08 am, and I was 20th in a cue. The call lasted a total of 10 minutes, of which 3 was conversing with a friendly receptionist. Getting an appointment was not a problem."
  • "Went for a travel vaccination today with the practice nurse who was very kind and friendly and thoroughly went through all the required information."
  • "I got an appointment to see Nurse Practitioner. She sorted me out and even called me this morning to see how the rash was doing."

  • "I attended this surgery for the 1st time on 17/3/23, Dr. blessing who I saw was so lovely she was very thorough and didn't rush anything spent longer than expected with her she wasn't one of those doctors that wanted you in and out, now just got to wait for hospital to contact me."
