Price and Value

Pros:

  • "When we first went I was a bit took back by the entry price but when we quickly realised that pays for staying as long as you want and unlimited plays on any arcade machine, it was not a problem."
  • "Took our son for his birthday, thought it was pricey at first but ended up spending 5 hours here so got our money's worth."
  • "Had the best time here with my partner! £12 for nearly 5 1/2 hours that were were there is what I call value for money!"
  • "Great place, excellent value for money! 3 floors of arcade machines from Frogger, Mario Cart, guitar hero! All for one price!"
  • "For £16 on a weekend it feels a little steep. Especially when some of the machines on the way in are pay to play. once past that there is a great selection and freedom to play."
  • "£18 to get in on a Saturday to then find games you still have to pay for. Tried to play 5 different games and they where all broke."
  • "Great value for money Great idea kids loved it place was so clean staff were amazing would recommend it to everyone gaming stations for all ages so games bring back memories from my childhood was so much fun can't wait to get bk 😀😀"
  • "Good value but we arrived later in the evening due to this place (supposedly) opening till late. To floor closed two hours earlier than started on Google and whole place closed an hour earlier than stated"

Cons:

  • "The main downside is the layout is pretty confusing, it took us ages to find the toilets, and there are so many stairs."
  • "We spent a good couple of hours here in the evening here and had a very good time. I feel the entry price is abit steep at £18pp per person."
  • "I was honestly thinking about asking for half my money back or something. Most of the machines are cheap unlicensed pandoras box arcade cabs from AliExpress."
  • "Ok, so visited today. It's reasonably priced and we could've stayed until 6pm as we had an under 18 with us."
  • "I didn’t realise they didn’t let kids in past 6pm on a weekend, so was charged £52 for 3 people to go in for 50 minutes."
  • "Why would you put your prices up during school holidays. Normally £10 for kids but during the holidays they've put it up to £16 (robbing from the working class)."
  • "Great place for all ages to play a large variety of games. Really nice atmosphere, food and drinks can be purchased here too to fuel you up."
  • "Enjoyed visiting here, lots of great games. Entrance fee was more expensive than advertised on the website though and food/drink prices inside were steep."

Game Selection and Condition

Pros:

  • "Three floors filled to the brim of various old and new arcade games is an absolute treat."
  • "Loads of choices of arcade machines, consoles and PC's."
  • "Loads of Vintage Games to play. And it wasn't too busy at all."
  • "A really cool and large gaming arcade with three floors of retro gaming with the top floor being the most surprising and amazing floor!"
  • "This place is perfect for a birthday day out or party. We didn't have any drinks or snacks from here but can definitely say it's worth a visit."
  • "If you like video games and arcades you need to visit this place! Plenty of variety N64, dreamcast, PS4, mega drive, switch, etc."
  • "This is what I will say the largest arcade location in Liverpool based on my experience. Dozens of games if you are into gaming world. You won’t be disappointed."
  • "Went here on a weeknight when it was really quiet and had the best time."

Cons:

  • "Some of the games are far too loud, so it was difficult to play multi player and have a conversation. Unfortunately the cafe was closed."
  • "The worst thing is despite costing more than Arcade Club and so many of the machines being ruined some things such as pool or basketball are not included in the entry fee."
  • "Most of the machines are cheap unlicensed pandoras box arcade cabs from AliExpress with awful joysticks, really stiff buttons and the wrong aspect ratio."
  • "It's a decent place and I've been here a lot. Variety of games is pretty good, there are 3 floors and the food ain't bad either."
  • "However sometimes quite a few machines are out of order. During busy times it is also impossible yo find a game to play."
  • "I was really disappointed with my trip here today with my son. I didn’t realise they didn’t let kids in past 6pm on a weekend."
  • "So many arcade games to choice from, you are really spoilt for choice. However there are a handful of games you have to pay for like: basket ball hoop, airhocky, punch machine to name a few- £1 per go."
  • "We came at half term. So busy! Alot of machines were broken. The price well £16 per child is a yes but,£18 for an adult who is there to supervise their children is shocking!"
