Shopping Experience

Pros:

  • "A great shopping centre that has been at the heart of Edgware for decades. A wide variety of excellent shops."
  • "Local shopping mall with a good range of shops. Sainsburys and Marks enhance the appeal."
  • "Great choice of adequately priced stuff. Staff keeping shelves in order despite massive influx of customers and browsers turning everything upside down in a blink of an eye."
  • "I love this shopping centre. Its compact with all names under one roof. An amazing place to shop! its on a beautiful road full of hanging flower baskets ❣"
  • "There's a really good variety of stores in the shopping centre but also a lot more to see just on the high street right outside."
  • "Handy little shopping centre right next to the bus/tube station. Has all the usual shops -- from memory a WHSmith, Superdrug, Boots, Claire's Accessories, M&S, couple of phone shops and clothing shops, Costa, that sort of thing with a few independents."
  • "This is a busy friendly place to shop."

Cons:

  • "It hardly competes with other big shopping centres."
  • "Only problem are the people, quite unfriendly and unwelcoming atmosphere :/"
  • "Not somewhere I would go out of my way to visit. Could do with a make over."
  • "The diversity of shops is less and less interesting....TXMaxx is one interesting one, Sainsbury is helpful but this small mall has lost the sense of diversity in my view."
  • "Unfortunately the centre is becoming run down with average shops."
  • "It has a few shops so if you are looking at a big shopping trip it is better to go to brent cross."
  • "We're are all the mainstream British stores gone Next Dorothy Perkins just filled with cheap shops selling poor quality merchandise!!!"

Parking and Accessibility

Pros:

  • "The place offers free two hours parking has plenty of shops for everyday shopping."
  • "It also has free parking for an hour and a half.. If you go over then the rates are quite low. All day parking is also just Β£4."
  • "Parking is alright. Also great for public transport as it is right next to Edgware tube station and bus station but the shops are lacking somewhat."
  • "Free parking for 1.5 hours. (You still need to insert your ticket into one of the machines on the way back to your car.)"
  • "Conveniently located close to buses and the tube."
  • "One of the few shopping centres offering free parking for first two hours."
  • "Good shopping centre near the Edgware station πŸš‰. Plenty of parking."

Cons:

  • "I got a parking ticket coz my car didn’t fit in the parking bay not from the sides but the front part so I didn’t cause anyone harm and had to pay Β£100 fine coz of this reason just a shame."
  • "Parking is a major problem, crashes happen a lot."
  • "Update: 7 months later and they installed new parking machines 4-5 months ago which are harder to use and mostly not working."
  • "They really need to spend a little bit money on the structure. The parking charges are too much specially when it is over 2 hours."
  • "To park for a day is Β£12!?? This isn't central London, it's a grubby car park with an 'old clothes' trailer in the middle of it and a large valet area."
  • "Parking can be a hassle."
  • "Signage is poor for this and it is also poor for escaping. I won't be returning and certainly not by car."

Facilities and Cleanliness

Pros:

  • "Toilets are kept really clean, big ups to the attendants!"
  • "Always looks clean and feels safe."
  • "There are restrooms which are clean and has disabled toilets."
  • "No stairs anywhere so good for older people too."
  • "With free parking facilities including spaces for Blue Badge holderβ™Ώ, 🚼. 🚻"
  • "The centre is always clean and tidy and the public convenience facilities are very welcome and looked after."
  • "Public toilets are clean."

Cons:

  • "Please do not buy from the stall that sells sunglasses and jewellery outside of Superdrugs. Bought sunglasses from them 3 weeks ago & it snapped after the 2nd wear. I went back to get my money back and was informed that I could not have my money back, even though I still had my receipt. even though you could tell it was a manufactures issue. The person I spoke to was extremely sarcastic & rude. Not good."
  • "The toilet is completely a mess but I trust them to refurbish it."
  • "Toilets closed for cleaning all afternoon, had to use Sainsbury Toilets."
  • "Toilets disgusting."
  • "Most unsanitary mens toilets. They are barely cleaned."
  • "Public toilets usable but not well maintained."
  • "Most of the public facilities are dirty but they are cleaned often."
