Cons:

  • "ONE of the nail technicians 'LEWIS' or Louis is EXTREMELY rude."
  • "I was sat on a small chair in the corner surrounded by dirty cups of tea and half bitten biscuits, not a word said about what I needed etc."
  • "Beside the horrible smell of nail gel and chemicals - maybe worth keeping a window open in a small room with 8 people getting their nails done?! Nauseating."
  • "If I could give them a zero star I would! Absolutely horrendous experience not just once but twice! Do not bother wasting your time and money there!"

Ambiance and Amenities

Pros:

  • "Lovely little extras like giving me a stylus when my fingers were soaking to remove gel, hot beverages and charge cords for phones."
  • "There’s a drinks list and an amazing colour selections."
  • "Captain (the resident Pomeranian) is always a delight to see as well πŸ’—"
  • "There are chargers for the phone, tea, biscuits, lollipops, massage chairs, little touch screen pens so you can still use the phone while nails are being done AND free wifi!"
  • "The drinks, snacks, WiFi and Captain the dog are all wonderful perks."
  • "Place is very clean and modern, with charging stations and phone stands."

Cons:

  • "The only reason I haven’t given 5* is the cash issue, especially post-covid it’s always a little suspicious when a company only takes cash."
  • "It's cash only unfortunately. Which was a bit of an inconvenience for me."
  • "Nice you can book online but they need to warn customers there is a dog in the salon."

Quality of Nail Service

Pros:

  • "The acrylics were done by David, I loved his technique, he is delicate and I can tell he thinks about the delicacy of women's nails."
  • "I always book Lee for a shellac manicure. He is a miracle worker: always going above and beyond to prioritise the health of my nails."
  • "They do my nails within an hr instead 3hrs like other shops!"
  • "Fantastic experience! You are offered a free hot or soft drink on arrival, followed by extensive attention to detail and brilliantly done nails, for such a reasonable price too!"
  • "The nails last at least 2-3 weeks, they never chip - I only change them because my nails grow."
  • "The nail filing and attention to detail is immaculate."
  • "Not only did my nails turn out wonderfully, I noticed that every single nail technician was warm and openly communicating with clients about what they wanted."

Cons:

  • "Then when An started she did the basics and when I asked for a design and showed her a specific one she said ok.. not mentioning she isn't good at 3D designs and that Kevin is the one who specialises in those and has done the samples!! So she goes ahead and totally ruins my nails does a totally different and ugly design."
  • "When I removed the nail polish, several nails had a fungal infection which was due to poor hygiene practices in the salon."
  • "Not only that, but after I DID my nails, the first few days it was already CHIPPING!!"
  • "The last time I had a pedicure there, the nail polish bubbled and I had to leave it as I did not have time for my nails to be redone."
  • "I went for a pedicure last week. 2 days later I started to feel discomfort in my big toe... it was an infection because of the unsterilised/unsanitary tools."
