  • "Secondly on a Sunday the place seemed overrun with large families with children making the restaurant extremely loud and messy."
  • "We would really have liked to have been able to see what we were eating! The lighting is probably a modern style but definitely not conducive to a restaurant."
  • "The only downside to this whole experience were a couple of wasps who did not want to leave us alone."

Value

Pros:

  • "Obviously you pay a little bit extra to be at an Elite Pub, but I would say it's worth it."
  • "All worth every penny."
  • "The food was delicious and a good price too."
  • "The price of everything is 100% worth it for the quality of the food."
  • "Prices extremely reasonable."
  • "Nice enough that it feels like a treat, but affordable enough that it's not bank busting."
  • "Food is excellent value for quality and quantity."

Cons:

  • "£10 for three deep fried vegetable balls with a few lettuce leaves, couple of slices of onion is not a salad."
  • "Unfortunately very pricey. £15 for a pretty small burger & chips (Aberdeen Angus)."
  • "£180 for 4 starters, 4 mains, 2 alcoholic drinks and 3 soft drinks was rather pricey for the experience we had on that day."
  • "However, I like many others were seduced by the two for one offer on the pizzas. Once we sat down had two drinks each, one side salad and a desert the bill came to nearly 70 pounds!"
  • "A £45 charge for a table inside a pre-fab garden shed is nothing short of a rip-off."
  • "For four average dishes (one of which burnt and partly cold) and just one pint of beer (oh and tap water) we paid £80+ which is not cheap given the overall experience."
  • "The only negative is the food is quite expensive for what is standard pub grub."
