  • "Nice touch on the after sale service too, they called us after the weekend to see how he’s settling in."

Cons:

  • "Bought a puppy from them £1100 they promised numerous things the 2 week free insurance is non existent, they claim vets know about it but they don’t and when you tell Douglas hall they says it’s not their problem."
  • "The only slight downside is that, having been since, I felt like the staff did not have time for us, and we ended up leaving without having a chance to even interact with any of the puppies."
  • "On the phone we were told that they do not welcome visitors and they are a breeders not a petting zoo."
  • "Would give 0 if I could, would not let us see the mothers which is a huge red flag for any breeder."
  • "Would give 0 if I could, would not let us see the mothers which is a huge red flag for any breeder... The pups looks scared and terrified cowering at the back whilst members of the public were grabbing at them."
  • "Not much supervision. Made me feel uncomfortable."
  • "DEFINITELY A GLORIFIED PUPPY FARM! Made me feel very uncomfortable- you are immediately drawn into the 'cuteness' of the pups(they are lovely) but as a dog owner the red flags are there screaming at you!"

Cleanliness and Care of Puppies

Pros:

  • "But the cleanest place I've ever seen."
  • "All the puppies we saw where well looked after and I like that we where allowed to get into the kennels and pick the puppies up."

  • "was lovely to see all the other pups in clean and warm enclosures"
  • "The kennels were spotless clean, and all the puppies were clean, happy & warm."
  • "The kennels themselves are also much nicer than any others I have been too."
  • "Each of the times we went to visit the kennels all the puppies we saw were in clean pens and looked well cared for."

Cons:

  • "£2000 she was told!!!!! I am absolutely disgusted!!! How someone can take advantage of people like that is beyond me."
  • "However, my pup did have kennel cough when we got him which we later found out the whole litter did."
  • "They also increased the price of the puppies whilst I was there, you can see from the below photo that their website clearly states the price, well they pretty much doubled it and tried passing it off that they were older puppies that were £995."
  • "He's got a little conjunctivitis in his eyes so is on drops."
  • "The staff asked us to get our puppy checked at the vets within the first 24hours which we did and she ended up on antibiotics as she had an infection in her throat."
  • "All pens filled with poo and then pups are walking in it or eating it."
  • "PUPPY FACTORY. They import their puppies from Northern Ireland using dog breeders David & Johnathan Hamilton who have rebranded their kennels after being exposed for their dog factory practices."

  • "Please don't buy from here."
  • "Puppy farm 10000% There is no way a licensed breeder would practice like this."
  • "It feels a bit like a puppy farm."
  • "Wouldn’t return to be honest and if I were you I would look for a reputable breeder rather than somebody that’s just in it for the profit."
  • "They didn't seem interested in who was buying the dog or if they would be well looked after with their new owner."

Cons:

  • "Did not appear to be any staff other than one bloke in the 'shop'."
  • "It stinks to high heaven, dog poo everywhere, people allowed to pick up the dogs at will, loads of kids and people just handling, picking up, walking round with the puppies willy nilly without any supervision from staff."
  • "There were no staff on hand to make sure the hordes of people in there were treating the dogs right."

  • "Their website is clearly providing misinformation and the lady on the phone was condescending."
  • "There is an overwhelming amount of proof this is a puppy farm existing only due to loop holes in the legal system."
