  • "Parking is a money making scandal, first retail park I know where have to pay to visit retail shops… free parking for a hour in town and 90 mins across the road."
  • "Parking is a complete rip off, parking machine will not accept the latest 50p coins."

Shopping Experience

Pros:

  • "What an absolute gem of a place. Everything you need from the gym to places to eat and a great selection of shops."
  • "Very pleasent, very tidy, great shops from retail to little coffee shops, sweet shops, to prezzo for a very nice lunch beautiful food , and friendly place all round."
  • "A good shopping area with parking and fountains. The trees are lit up after dark giving a nice atmosphere."
  • "Nice little shopping area. The kids were playing in the water fountain which was lovely to see."
  • "Good choice of shopping, easy parking and only £1 for four hours of 50p for two."
  • "Good choice of the bigger retailers and restaurants. Only negative is the outdoor loudspeakers which blare 'music' - I find this very odd and pretty unpleasant but maybe others enjoy it."
  • "Great shopping and fantastic to have the parking facility, however rain shelters by the pay and display machines would improve the facilities."
  • "This area used was used for industrial purposes, became derelict after the businesses left. Some forward thinking and proper investment transformed the place and helped breath new life into the town centre."

Cons:

  • "Parking spaces are hard to come by as gets busy, and shops are sort of specialist (vision express, a gym, mountain warehouse etc) so shops are limited for browsing."
  • "Limited number of shop's. Good for a quick and easy place to go for a few bits."
  • "Some decent shops, some terrible shops. Browns staff for instance will follow you around the store and look down at you if you dare enter in anything other than your 3 peice suit."
  • "Shops are great of course but what's with the off-putting super loud carpark music, I think its designed to make you shop and get out of there as quickly as possible before you go nuts."
  • "Number of shops slowly dwindling away to empty units, you could blame the Covid-19 pandemic if you wanted, but greedy landlords so much more appropriate and true!"
  • "It is a very popular place in Gainsborough for shopping and meet people. Surround by several well known national brand shops in an open space style, giving a second chance to old industrial buildings."
  • "Some of fhe shops (Timpsons, Halfords etc) are very overpriced possibly down to the high rents paid for these retail units compared to similar stores prices."
  • "It's a good shopping centre in Gainsborough's town centre. Gainsborough Central railway station is about 150 yards away. Gainsborough bus station is near by."
