Authenticity and Cuisine

Pros:

  • "This place is delightfully Italian! From the diversity of Italian cuisine and beyond, they serve amazing Venetian-style small plates, always focusing on fresh pasta."
  • "Best Italian food I’ve had in London."
  • "The homemade bread-grissini, focaccia and other starters were delicious."
  • "The food is fresh and flavourful."
  • "All I can say that the staff is very attentive, responsive and they serve the best Italian food ever tasted it feels like being in one of the best restaurants in Italy."

Cons:

  • "Food was small portioned but decent quality. Lacked spice and chilli oil didn't hold any heat either."
  • "The food quality wasn’t that great, same as the taste."
  • "Both our main dishes (pasta and gnocchi) looked and tasted like something that was bought in a discount store and was placed in the microwave before being served."

Ambience and Location

Pros:

  • "They have a secret heated beautiful terrace in the back."
  • "Nice modern interior and also a very nice enclosed outdoor space with lots of greens."
  • "Completely isolated from the noise of the Finchley Road. The staff are very professional and sincere and you can tell they all care if you have a good dining experience."
  • "The interior deco is lovely but their garden/patio area outside is stunning. Very holiday vibes."
  • "Amazing fusion of north and south Italy cuisine, I had the best vegan linguine I ever had ... Tiramisù was very tasty and not wet ... Just amazing food... Highly recommend this restaurant"

Cons:

  • "The biggest disappointment was the pizza, it was quite soggy so not particularly nice."
  • "The only plus point is that the terrace is nicely designed. The restaurant is let down by overpriced mediocre dishes, small portions and very rude and incompetent staff."
  • "There was a mouse running around on the outside restaurant floor. Which I guess it's hard to prevent but not great to see when you are dining."

Service Quality

Pros:

  • "The service was lovely and always checking in."
  • "Friendly service but bathrooms need renovation and the menu online was different to the one in the restaurant."
  • "The service was top notch and super kind and friendly servers. AMAZING cocktails."

Cons:

  • "In 1h45 we managed to get only one serving of drinks even though we reminded the waiters 3 times of our wine pending."
  • "The service was so appalling. The restaurant was not busy at all, maybe 3-4 other tables occupied."
  • "The venue itself is a nice location bit unfortunately the food was below average and that is why I have given a 2 star rating."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "One of the best Italian restaurants in London. We paid 300.00£ in two. We got a lot of delicious food and drinks. It was worth every penny."
  • "Thank you for such a magnificent dinner at such reasonable price. Will definitely come back."
  • "The price was reasonable for the food. The wine was a little on the expensive side."

Cons:

  • "The portion size so small. It was more like a starter, or a portion size for a 1 or 2 year old child, if they’re not a big eater."
  • "Portions have shrunk and prices have risen to Mayfair level."
  • "Overpriced and poor food quality. Was not a good experience at all, never eaten such poor Italian food."
