Food Quality

Pros:

  • "Thoroughly enjoyable roast dinner."
  • "Lovely Sunday roast."

  • "Food was absolutely delicious."

Cons:

  • "The chicken burger was bland, deep fried and came with a sad bit of lettuce and slice of tomato."
  • "Lots of burgers on the menu if that's what you enjoy. Linguine and prawns was overpriced for what it was and had an odd flavour."
  • "Considering it was £18 and £9 (just for the beef dinner) respectively, the portion sizes were a joke!"
  • "Firstly my partner broke a tooth on his burger! There was bone or something in it."
  • "No fish. Extreme poor menu."
  • "Fish was flat soggy and tasteless, chips were anaemic."
  • "The nut roast was a real disappointment as was more like stuffing with occasional bit of apricots and pine nuts - but no real nut content as far as either of us could tell."

  • "Absolutely the worst experience was shown to our table at 18.30 waited for 20 mins no one came to see it we wanted drinks sat for another 10 mins still waiting decided we had had enough and left."
  • "Clearly understaffed, although waitress was trying her best."
  • "Gone down hill drastically. Poorly managed. Young, inexperienced staff whose role model of a manager sits drinking energy drinks and smoking cigarettes, leaving them to deal with the queue."
  • "The staff seemed to have no idea of what was going on."
  • "Booked tonight at 630 Was shown to table by ginger haired waitress then left for 25 minutes didn't get asked if wanted drinks or water on the table went to the bar to complain and staff were just chatting behind bar totally ignoring us so we walked out."
