"The floor in the mine is a bit bumpy so would phone ahead to ask about whether they thought suitable for wheel chair or buggy access."

"We were the last tour of the day and so before our tour I checked with the cafe to see if we could have a drink there after the tour, they said no problem but they close at 430. We finished the tour at 4 and went to the cafe and one woman there was so rude and basically tried to stop us going in, saying they were closing in 15 mins."
"The only downside to the afternoon was the fact that the cafe was closed. Run independently, but it was a Bank Holiday and in my opinion should be open if the Rhondda Heritage Park is open."

"We had a drink and a cake and at 420 they said they were shut and we had to leave. It’s such a shame as it really ruined the end of a lovely experience. The customer service in the cafe was poor."
