Attractions and Activities

Pros:

  • "So much fun, we enjoyed the sky dive, climbing wall, soft play, water slides, the sky high trampolines."
  • "There's an amazing play area with a huge tower to climb up, free to use electric cars to drive round the track, and the best dinosaurs I've seen in England!"
  • "The treeptop adventures were probably our favorite, since we'd never done a course like that before."
  • "Loads of rides and obstacle courses for all ages."
  • "The dinosaur park was super cute, fun, and believable."
  • "The kids were entertained all day."
  • "The butterfly garden was my favourite part it was very peaceful."

Cons:

  • "Although some attractions were closed."
  • "The Halloween decorations were a bit too much for our three-going-on four year old."
  • "We were there on 1/8 some attractions are closed and the waiting time is about 40-60 minutes for Skydive zip line or water slide."
  • "Shame the roller coater is away bit hopefully they will replace it with something more exciting."
  • "There were 2 attractions closed due to the current pandemic and you had to wear face masks in certain areas of the park."
  • "Some parts, like the ancient forest, are a work in progress and honestly, I feel should just be closed as the walk around it is reasonably long and a bit boring, especially for younger children."
  • "Most of the dinosaurs are broken which took away from the fantasy of it all."

Staff and Service

Pros:

  • "So entering was very quick and professional."
  • "The staff are so friendly."
  • "I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, all very friendly and helpful, a real asset to the landmark park."
  • "Staff all young but really helpful and polite and good with the kids."
  • "The staff on rope climbing equipment are good at helping you get set up and explaining the rules."
  • "The staff were brilliant from start to finish with my son. So friendly and understanding."
  • "All staff throughout the park were friendly and approachable."

Cons:

  • "Sadly 2 couldn't attend and was quite rude when asking if a refund was possible."
  • "The woman in the main cafe was extremely rude and needed to sort her attitude out when talking to customers."
  • "Only let down was the lack of parking for the disabled."
  • "Real shame they are struggling for staff as it really is a great venue."
  • "The queuing process seems to be quite long too and for the skydive and the roller coaster, two turns in a row make for longer waiting time for everyone else."
  • "I was a little disappointed however that there were a couple coach loads of older kids there, it obviously made things a lot busier than I expected."
  • "The main downside was the ropeworx I have gone on a few ropeworx courses across the country and i find them challenging and fun but the ropes on this course had little to no tension."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "It's not cheap but well worth the money."
  • "Had a half price voucher which made it even better."
  • "Honestly it’s so worth the money."
  • "The ticket prices seem high until you go in and realise what you get for that price. Well worth the entrance fee."
  • "Great value for money."
  • "Absolutely superb. Worth every penny."
  • "So it feels like you are getting your money’s worth for sure."

Cons:

  • "For what you pay, not worth it."
  • "Just need to save up if the kids want to go again next year."
  • "The ticket price is very expensive compared with other parks."
  • "Peak season pricing is rather extortionate though, approx three times that of the off peak prices, can't see where that could be justified."
  • "£80 for a family of 4 I felt was expensive as for me and my partner really didn't get our moneys worth personally £60 would of been right for me."
  • "It's not a cheap place to enter, with prices for young kids almost being the same as an adult."
  • "On the website it did tell us what was open and we had to agree to this during the booking process, however upon arrival we were told that more areas were closed and this was NOT reflected in the price."

Facilities and Accessibility

Pros:

  • "The park tries to be disability friendly as possible and they do a fabulous job."
  • "Parking is free."
  • "There is plenty of parking space and an overflow car park but both spaces are close to the entrance."
  • "Car parking is free which is very good, with plenty of spaces available in the main and overspill car parks."
  • "The walks are easy for everyone including those with prams or wheelchairs as it’s fairly flat boardwalk with only a slight gradient."
  • "Everything free once ticket purchased apart from food and there is plenty of places to have your own picnic if you wish."
  • "The park is well looked after and clean."

Cons:

  • "Had to unload passengers on the roadway to the reception as there was no way we could have wheeled him down from the second carpark the pathway is not built for wheelchairs."
  • "I wouldn't recommend it accessibly wise as people with mobility issues would struggle to do most things."
  • "Only draw back was the waste from the onsite food facilities and no recycling bins."
  • "Car parking was convenient when we went, but it looks like it could be packed at peak times."
  • "Unfortunately, some attractions have height restrictions (minimum of 1.1 - 1.5 m)."
  • "The only bad bits on our day was lack of seating at food courts under cover seats mostly wet and the gravel paths a bit not suitable for small electric wheelchairs."
  • "Only let down was the lack of parking for the disabled."

  • "Food options aren't great, and if you're veggie or have allergies you'd be better to bring a picnic."
  • "The restaurant is a bit pricey for drinks etc so would strongly advise you take your own, esp if you have a few kids on a hot day as it can be quite expensive."
  • "Food options are very limited for vegetarians & vegans."
  • "The only thing I would point out is that I ordered a chicken burger and it was frozen chicken between two buns: that was really nasty so I ended up having the chips!"
  • "Parking is poor and the cafe smells quite bad too."
