Cons:

  • "However if you're at the back of the stalls with someone tall in front of you, you will have a restricted view due to the lack of raking."
  • "As the theatre is so old it struggles with its old facilities, eg 3 urinals and one cubicle in the men's toilet means long queues."
  • "The floorboards are creaky, as well as the stairs, the seats bang back to their folded position."
  • "The Theatre itself though is not so comfortable."
  • "The theatre itself is dated with little leg room and no aircon."
  • "THE most uncomfortable seating I’ve ever experienced in the dress circle."
  • "The seats are so uncomfortable. You are so squashed up, that no matter which way you sit there is no room."

  • "Staff friendly and helpful."

Cons:

  • "Odd policy - clearly something to do with maximising revenue over customer choice."
  • "The queues were absolutely insane."
  • "Our only gripe was the bar service, which was too slow for the demand."
  • "Unfortunately, the people sitting behind us talked through most of the show, which made it very difficult to enjoy it."
  • "Enjoyed the theatre experience, but the entrance staff's rudeness was disappointing."
  • "The ushers - not sure if they are paid or volunteer - need more training."

Cons:

  • "We had a terrible time understanding the performers."
  • "A huge disappointment though was my seat - A20 at a cost of £35... I could not see the actors from the waist down and their facial expressions could not be seen at all."
  • "For satire to work, the targets need to be hit with precision. What we got was a succession of non verbally sharp, blunt instruments."
  • "Unfortunately a drunk lady in the front row of the dress circle was yelling and disrupting the performance."
