Food Quality

Pros:

  • "A brilliant place to enjoy fabulous pizza."
  • "I'm a pizza fan and this was one of the best Margaritas I have had - only bettered by one I had in New York."
  • "The pizza is amazing in a word."
  • "Ordered a pizza di parma — absolutely delicious, I actually keep dreaming about it."
  • "The pizza was really juicy and had taste."
  • "The pizza base was perfectly cooked, thin and fresh. Just the right amount of fresh tasting."
  • "Their pizza hit all the right spots and while it was simple, the ingredients and the dough made a huge difference."

Cons:

  • "Unfortunately when I was at home I realized that the two pizzas were completely burned on the bottom."
  • "Was really disappointing, my margherita pizza was swimming in tomato sauce (which wasn’t even that tasty, it was really bland). Hardly any cheese."
  • "The cheese on the pizza (I had the fior di latte) is of a poor quality."
  • "The last 2 times the pizza was bitter because it was burnt."
  • "The pizza looked good visually, Neapolitan dough. The taste of the pizza was really very weak."
  • "The marinara sauce is too liquid, bland and there is too much of it, resulting in a soggy pizza."
  • "There's a LOT of dough in the pizza. I ordered a funghi which they apparently make without tomato sauce, so basically what I got was bread with cheese, and a handful of olives and tiny mushroom bits sprinkled over."

Service

Pros:

  • "The girl serving us was lovely and friendly."
  • "Friendly and polite staff."
  • "The service was very good and quite fast."
  • "The servers were super friendly and answered all of our questions."
  • "The entire staff is super nice and very attentive, checking in on us and everyone else around us -even if it wasn't 'their' table."
  • "The staff is always friendly and they were very helpful to accomodate for our newborn baby."
  • "Staff were super nice and just all round great!"

Cons:

  • "Great food but horrible service and it was way too cramped and busy and noisy."
  • "ABSOLUTELY GREAT pizza no doubt, but one of the staff seems to be harsh with my not leaving quickly after finishing."
  • "The waitress was very rude. Not sure what was her problem but she took the order very quickly, no smile at all and her attitude was pretty bad."
  • "Friendly staff until you order, then never heard from again."
  • "The pizza was really delicious but the service was unbelievably rude."
  • "Yet twice I’ve had really poor experiences with the staff."
  • "Terribly rude service and unapologetic too."

Atmosphere

Pros:

  • "Proper family-style pizzeria. Food is great & good value, wine excellent."
  • "Sometimes quite a trendy crowd of locals."
  • "Freshly made pizzas which are fairly affordable and in a nice spot of town."
  • "They make a Neapolitan-style pizza that is soft and fluffy but it doesn’t feel gummy/chewy like many can be. Perfect crust with a great selection of toppings."
  • "Love this pizza place and come here often! Many different types of pizza, all are wonderful and ingredients are always very fresh and high quality."
  • "Very cheerful place in a really nice location and with a great atmosphere."
  • "Felt like a cosy pizza place straight from somewhere like Firenze and dropped in London."

Cons:

  • "No Wi-Fi."
  • "They closed at 1700 which surprised me, good thing we came around 1600."
  • "Call ahead though to get a reservation as it can get busy."
  • "They somehow picked the wrong bulbs... They cast a green tint and look too pale for a cosy place."
  • "A bit busy and not much service, but food and atmosphere is good."
  • "Nice atmosphere - I heard them playing some Mos Def and other old school hip hop tunes, respect!"
  • "Post Covid - a miracle, finally silence in the area and able to breathe live!"
