Facilities and Cleanliness
Pros:
"Lovely food menu, clean toilets, beautiful colourful and bright when you walk in."
"The toilets were clean and there wasn't any dirty ness in sight."
"It is very clean and we watched a birthday party parade which was lovely to see!"
"Very clean too with fantastic sensory zones."
"Always clean and the staff friendly!"
"Clean. Staff friendly. Plenty of space and the music isn't at obnoxious levels."
"Clean and tidy play area. Chargers for adults which isn’t the norm."
"Staff absolutely fantastic 3 young lasses and a cook. Rushed of their feet making sure everything was clean and sanitised."
Cons:
"Tables weren't cleared and there was rubbish everywhere."
"Need improvements on hygiene...many children are coming over and I had my child 2 times on seek from Play Valley."
"Cleaning is shocking cobwebs everywhere tap leaking in male toilets."
"Not sure about food hygiene. Saw a male member of staff picking his nose then taking a delivery of food."
Staff and Customer Service
Pros:
"Especially one of the team members Amy who was so friendly from the moment we walked in."
"Jess, the party host, was fantastic - so welcoming, explained everything when we arrived."
"Great customer service, nice and clean. Really accommodating for the younger ones."
"Brilliant visit, all the staff are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a good experience."
"We absolutely love coming to play valley as it is for a good age range as my children are different ages."
"This place is Awesome friendly staff and a great play area that most adults will be able to fit in with their toddlers."
"The staff are great. They keep it nice and clean. The food is good."
"Visited plenty of times, always clean and the staff friendly!"
Cons:
"Centre manager even didn’t bother to reply for your questions if you didn’t pay in full."
"Just wish the staff were more consistent. Some of them couldn't do enough for us. The group of girls constantly hudled together in offices on their mobiles wasn't very professional."
"I have been here afew times now. Overall its a grate place for children to play and let out some of there energy. But the staff have let it down for us (not all the staff)."
"I used to take my daughter here alot, price was good and plenty of things to do however prices went up an quality went down! I took my 2yr old and my 5 month old last week and was charged more for my 5 month old to go in than before which i can only imagine is due to the new pre walkers area, however no staff around to enforce rules of which children are allowed in each area."
Food and Drink
Pros:
"The food and drink really isn't a bad price either."
"Love the jugs of juice for about £2.00 because the kids get so thirsty!"
"Nice venue with plenty to do. The kids loved it. The cleanliness was satisfactory- not bad for a large venue. The food coming out looked nice."
"The food was very tasty and reasonably priced."
Cons:
"However, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend their onsite catering. We went as a group and all spent so much money on their food. (Id say around £40-£50 all together) and we’ve all had the runs and aftermath from it!"
"I ordered some chips for him which were cold and full of oil, he ended up leaving them."
"Drinks menu not clear with pricing so it's a guessing game when you get to the counter."
"The play facilities are great, my sons both really enjoy it. However, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks."
Safety and Supervision
Pros:
"Paticularly liked the tannoy announcement to not so subtly remind parents that the toddler area is for toddlers!"
"Really nice play area for the kids.. covid and health and safety are taken seriously and hand sanitizer is provided at every step."
"One of the biggest play grounds in the area..but like I did say before, need improvements on hygene...many children are coming over and I had my child 2 times on seek from Play Valley"
Cons:
"Frustrating that bigger kids are playing in baby area meaning little ones don't get to play safely - need reminders of ages in these areas to parents over tannoy system or something to make it very clear repeatedly or upon signing in."
"No control parents don't care what kids are doing and nobody enforces the rules there cleaning is shocking cobwebs everywhere tap leaking in male toilets kids playing football in the main kids area where the big red ball is on the top had too remove our child early for his own safety so wasted a tenner and you have too wait about 10 15 minutes for someone too come open the gate for you too leave, will not be going again and I advise anyone reading this just go too marquis instead"
"My littlies love coming here to play. A variety of play equipment to challenge their developing skills. Very clean. Friendly staff. Plenty of free car parking, toilets and baby changing facilities. Cafe with reasonably priced food and drinks."
