"All animals looked well looked after & happy."
Cons:

"Very sad to see some animals alone very few primates left."
"Some of the enclosures are a little on the small size or seem quite boring for the animals."
"There were many enclosures where we couldn't see the animals."
"Some animals are on their own which again is quite sad and others are put in enclosures, behind electric fences, and on the day I visited, most could not be seen."
"A lot of the enclosures seemed really tired, dark and dirty not to mention really small."
"Honestly maybe 30% of the enclosures were empty, loads of paths closed and blocked off."

Cons:

"The customer service from the customer facing staff within the cafe area could be improved."
"The staff weren’t friendly, at one point we were admiring the giraffes whilst a zoo keeper fed them."
"3 stars because the customer service is diabolical."
"We were told by the two men on the counter that we should have arrived 15 minutes before our session time, however this was not on our booking information."
"The staff were lovely but clearly overwhelmed."
"The whole place is in dire need of maintenance."
Facilities and Accessibility
Pros:
"Toilets are plentiful around the site, almost all the areas are accessible for wheelchair uses and pushchairs."
"Finding refreshments is easier."
"There is a large soft play in the main building where grown ups can sit and enjoy a coffee whilst supervising their little ones."
"The zoo facilities are clean and well maintained."
"The Disabled parking is excellent as are the disabled facilities."
"All the walkways are quite easy walking."
"I found the whole park accessible by wheelchair, and accessible toilets are large enough to turn around rather than reverse out!"
Cons:
"The water park was closed which was a big disappointment."
"Seemed very odd visiting in August and having at least 6 areas undergoing refurbishment with no animals to see there."
"Toilets around the park were a little gross, and in disrepair."
"A lot of Animals were inside / (under the roof) their enclosures and many enclosures were simply empty."
"Sub par day out to say the least, enclosures looked small and very dated."
"Not all the exhibits and walk through are wheelchair friendly, with some paths uneven and home to large protruding tree roots."
"Parts of the gruffalo walk were broken and there were stingy nettles hanging down on paths."
Value for Money
Pros:
"The come back for 12 month offer is excellent value for money for us being less than half an hour away."
"We had family trip and a voucher for 40per cent off which was a mega value deal."

"Admission cost is very reasonable considering the quality of the zoo (use the Kids Pass app to benefit further)."
"Currently great deal on where you get annual pass for day ticket price."
"Considering you can buy a ticket and then visit for free for the year, it really is worth every penny."
"The admission price was very reasonable especially as the ticket was valid for 12 months :-)."
Cons:
"Not cheap to get in, but, once admitted, everything you needed to pay for was expensive."
"We found the food a little expensive."
"£3.20 for a can of soft drink."
"No where to eat unless you pay over the top prices for fish and chips."
"The drinks at the kiosks are pricey at £3.00 for a bottle of oasis."
"Wasn’t quite as good as expected, especially considering the entrance fee."
"Our only negatives were the industrial looking habitats of the primates and the extortionate food prices."
