Professionalism and Friendliness of Staff

Pros:

  • "All the staff are really professional and caring they have looked after my Westie for the last 4 nights."
  • "Very professional and friendly. I was happy to leave my cat and know he was in safe hands."
  • "The Vets Now team were fantastic. The vet read his medical history, talked through all the symptoms, reviewed his condition and discussed the options."
  • "The wonderful staff here literally saved my dogs life!"
  • "Absolutely amazing Vet team. My cat could not pass urine which can become very serious very quickly."
  • "I was really impressed with the support and care shown to my pet and myself during an emergency visit to Vets Now."
  • "From the second I rang to when we left the care was exemplary."
  • "The staff at this place are amazing, I had to take my 15 year old dog here as she was really poorly."

Cons:

  • "The receptionist in dark blue (D) was the most horrible and vile person in that position I have encountered."
  • "Long waiting times and an absolutely filthy floor that was ingrained with dirt and blood."
  • "Vet was lovely! But I have never met someone so rude and disrespectful as the old women I had to speak to at reception.. 0 customer service skills!!"
  • "Appalling experience dealing with money grabbing lepers that shouldn’t be working with animals, they lack any basic human compassion."

Quality of Veterinary Care

Pros:

  • "The vet was calm, caring and experienced (you can tell) which meant my cat felt comfortable with her."
  • "My dog had to be rushed in for an emergency Caesarean. The vet did a great job and saved five of my six puppies."
  • "Realising the danger of intestinal blockage, I called the out of hours emergency vet after our Cavapoo gobbled up a corn cob. We were seen straight away."
  • "We were very pleased and grateful to Vets Now for handling our emergency efficiently and thoroughly."
  • "Vets Now saw our hen after a fox attack, out of hours, and I was very impressed with them. The vets were extremely gentle, checked her over, and administered pain relief and antibiotics."
  • "My puppy was lame on his back leg and they advised I come in immediately as it could be serious."
  • "VetsNow saw my cat when she had unknown pain in her forearm. After examination it appears she's been in a fight with another cat and been bitten."
  • "Cannot fault them in the slightest! They were amazing with our cat who was very ill."

Cons:

  • "Avoid this place at all costs. The vet was unable to make a diagnosis and said he would undertake bloods and a scan which I authorised. Bloods were taken, confirming my dog was severely dehydrated but vet had no idea."
  • "Not impressed. Said to vet I was concerned it was not what they were saying it was. Was made to feel I was being silly."
  • "I took my dog for emergency treatment. Although the vet was very nice I was extremely concerned that after arriving, my dog was not looked at for 2 hours."
  • "Disappointed. It was clear from the outset the vet wanted to sedate my cat which was not necessary."
  • "My puppy was lame on his back leg and they advised I come in immediately as it could be serious. Attended the appointment only to be told they won't xray as not an orthopaedic vet."
  • "Absolutely disgusting service. Ripped me off £2000 just for giving my dog pain relief, rude and unprofessional never again will I be back."
