Accessibility

Pros:

  • "Located immediately next to the main Wembley Stadium, the OVO Arena is very easy to access."
  • "Exiting was quick and easy, what I like."
  • "Venue is easy to find, as it's situated near the entrance to Wembley Park."
  • "The queueing was really fast and efficient."
  • "I'm disabled and turned up on an electric mobility scooter... The view was excellent, if a little bit further back than the last two times I was at Wembley Arena."

Cons:

  • "Parking was easy in the red car park too, a little bit of a queue to get out, but that was expected."
  • "If you are travelling by car it can be a real pig of a journey. I was travelling by road from the Kent coast, mid week. It took 4 hours due to the time of day with the usual M25 difficulties and hitting rush hour as we were arrived near Harrow which was grid locked."
  • "The venue itself was slightly tired. Sat in stalls (B3, row 7). Would not recommend sitting in this section as the seats are not tiered, so your view may be blocked by a taller person in front."
  • "Chaotic security and queue system. There are not many stewards/ushers within the building to help crowd management."
  • "I attended the Joe Hisaishi concert tonight and was honestly blown away by how lovely the staff were at OVO. However, the queue in front of the Arena looked long but we got in faster than expected. It was well organised."

Food and Drink

Pros:

  • "There is food and drink available before the show and at the intermission, reasonably priced."
  • "Food counter staff were very polite and kept customers informed if fresh food was going to take a little time."
  • "The food was about £4 an ice cream, £9 a hotdog. Toilets were ok. The actual venue isn't the best acoustically. We were sitting S5 upper and you could hear the voices reverberating which was a bit off-putting. Didn't spoil the show as such, just a bit annoying. Nice intimate venue though."

Cons:

  • "The drinks are expensive but they are at these places."
  • "A Pint of beer costs £8.5, hotdog also costs £8.5."
  • "Drinks and food are so expensive, £3.90 for a bottle of water without a lid!"
  • "The food & drinks are over priced!"
  • "If you use the amazon fresh store before to get your snacks as it's crazy prices for them in the venue."
  • "Food and drink inside I found to be quite expensive and in my opinion very limited for this type of venue."

Seating and View

Pros:

  • "We had floor standing tickets for the gig so was in the thick of it all and had an equally great view."
  • "I had seats in N10. The view was brilliant. OVO stage is open from all sides and not deep in. From all sides everything is visible."
  • "Went to see Red Velvet for their world tour on June 6th. Everything was amazing and the staff are super friendly, my only trouble was that the seats were uncomfortable and left me with a backache the next day. But overall really good :)"

Cons:

  • "The arena is very rectangular so we were looking sideways the whole night."
  • "Seats too small for comfort. Getting out and away runs well. 5 mins to tube which was waiting for us."
  • "It's an alright venue, the price of food and drink inside is ridiculous, £10 for a lame hotdog! Seats were snug and quite uncomfortable."
  • "The arena itself was quite cold as there was a door behind us that was constantly being opened and closed. The seats were quite close together and we were in a very long row."
  • "Cheap incredibly uncomfortable seating for long shows, very overpriced food and drinks, incredibly long queues for using restroom facilities considering the capacity of their events. Not designed for purpose. Worst theatre I have been to for a live performance."

Staff and Security

Pros:

  • "Very friendly and helpful staff, considering the amount of people they have to deal with."
  • "The staff at the venue were very polite and helpful."
  • "The disabled toilets were just outside where we were sitting."
  • "Staff were friendly enough and we enjoyed the show but the drinks are unjustifiably expensive."
  • "Great venue for events. Customer service is great, all people are happy and pleasant, organisation very smoothly and seating is fine."

Cons:

  • "The entrance was easy to find and the crowd control outside was poor."
  • "We were in B block and there was poor crowd management there too with the staff being really rude."
  • "Security was also a bit heavy for Greta Van Fleet bearing in mind the audience was a friendly rock one that was showing zero signs of being lairy or non-compliant."
  • "There was a fight near us and security dealt with it very well and quickly."
  • "Security is quick. There plenty of places inside to get a bite ir drink. The toilets could have been designed better, as there very long ques during the break."

Overall Experience

Pros:

  • "All in all the OVO was a fantastic venue to see NBT perform."
  • "What an amazing atmosphere. We absolutely loved Melanie Martinez's concert. She was amazing."
  • "A great venue in a great location…. Get yourself there if your favourite bands are playing."
  • "The event was well managed by the security team on arrival: checking tickets, directing people and showing customers to seats so well done for that."
  • "I had the privilege to attend the greatest concert I've ever been during my entire life, Sleep Token and it was amazing."

Cons:

  • "Pretty disappointing venue. It's got a poor layout with most seats sitting at 90 degrees to the stage."
  • "The event itself was amazing and once inside the actual venue it was fine just a bit busy. The security however had no idea what they were doing and mismanaged the queueing such that lots of people were put into the wrong queues and told to leave queues to stand in the sun again."
  • "The venue is a nightmare!!! Extremely dirty and unbearable hot!!! No air conditioning!!!!"
  • "After a wait of over 2 years Nightwish smashed it at Wembley. Easy to get to the Arena- straight off the Jubilee line, short walk and you're there! Nice Arena - food and drink good 👍 and reasonable prices. As usual not enough ladies loos but heyho that's lice music venues for you and I wouldn't have it any other way."
  • "It's an okay venue but it's such a weird choice if layout for concerts (people on the side at the back have such a bad view) and the way they manage long queues isn't great."
