Cons:

  • "During the break the staff were running around like headless chickens, with no one really in control."
  • "Shocking tracks to small and the staff don’t care."
  • "Failed to enforce then no bumping rule as there was our group of 5 unexperienced riders on the track with 3 regulars."
  • "The staff don’t care and safty is another story."
  • "Not very BIG & the actual course is not that well designed."

Track and Kart Quality

Pros:

  • "The new electric karts are fun yet challenging to drive and the track provides a test for both new and experienced drivers."
  • "The karts are a blast to drive, even with them being electrically powered and can quickly get up to nearly the 40Mph speed on the straights."
  • "The electric karts are good too!"
  • "Karts are now electric and I was pleasantly surprised that performance was almost identical to when I had been and karts were still petrol."
  • "The track design was exhilarating, the karts were high-speed beasts."
  • "The karts were really good and Marshalls were really helpful."
  • "Very professional staff, well run track discipline, clean equipment."
  • "Karts are all well maintained and staff on point to stop any collisions."

Cons:

  • "First electric go karting experience was different compared to petrol. Breaking down the ramp was very tricky."
  • "The surface is absolutely horrendous, with sections of polished stone and concrete making it very slippy."
  • "During our heats with the 3 of us from Holland, we were combined in the heats with 10 locals. These locals were as good as drunk."
  • "My kart then proceeded to break down not once but twice."
  • "They are slower than the petrol ones around the track but I liked the extra initial acceleration."
  • "Absolutely terrible. Not my first visit but probably my last."
  • "I decided in this race to stay wide to allow the other racers to pass easily to avoid the constant collisions I'd experienced in the first race."

Booking and Organization

Pros:

  • "Booking easy, very good at notifications on your day."
  • "Spot on venue for our lads afternoon out."
  • "Great first session with you and in electric karts. Great price for Go kart//golf package."
  • "Booking was so easy (even for 12 using 6 vouchers )."

Cons:

  • "Shadowed with mist because of an adult trying to ram children so his child could win."
  • "This was so badly organised I was in a bit of shock. I'm pretty experienced at karting and never seen a site run like this."
  • "The race track is small, and if you choose the family time, you'll be frustrated with how many times the younger kids hit things and it stops the whole race."
  • "Cancelled our booking 10 minutes before arrival!! 10 people made a special journey and having paid for the Humber bridge for a staff Christmas party."
