  • "A fantastic experience. Front row seats at Al Murray got a bit wet but the jokes kept flowing throughout the show."
  • "A great asset for Cheltenham."

Cons:

  • "Still waiting on a response regarding Priscilla Queen of the desert 23/5 have messaged numerous times to find out how they are dealing with refunds,to date no contact from the theatre."
  • "We were unable to travel due to heavy snowfall. No exchanges or refunds have been offered."
  • "Sadly wasn't very impressed with the play Caroline's Kitchen, but that is the joy of live theatre, I'm never very sure what to expect."
  • "Although we love this theatre our last experience at The Railway Children was totally ruined by children behind us unwrapping sweets the whole time."
  • "They stole 80 pounds of our money (and we are a military family who can't afford to be cheated) by FALSE advertising the show."
  • "The Girl on a Train is hands down one of the worst things I have ever had to sit through for 2hrs."
  • "We were disappointed with this year's pantomime..left us all feeling that the Cheltenham panto is now just a tweedy show."

Customer Service

Pros:

  • "Staff are very helpful and there's plenty of snacks, drinks and merchandise on offer."
  • "We are so impressed with this customer service."
  • "The staff are friendly and the facilities are modern and clean."
  • "The staff are helpful and the atmosphere is great."
  • "Staff are friendly, polite and professional."
  • "The ushering and catering staff were friendly and helpful also."
  • "Staff are always friendly and helpful."

Cons:

  • "Great show which was only spoiled by a member of the theatre staff walking up and down the aisle scanning the audience for people secretly filming the event."
  • "At the end of the show it was very disappointing, we are in a pandemic & it was a free for all on leaving. People pushing to get out. Staff just totally not interested in people's welfare."
  • "Whilst I have no complaints about the theatre and its shows I was disappointed by the way I was dealt with by 'the Manager' of the Cafe Bar recently."
  • "Only one problem know disabled parking outside of the area, even if it is in the big carpark you still have to walk away."

Facilities & Accessibility

Pros:

  • "Direct access to theatre from the car park. The auditorium was good quality."
  • "There is a handy carpark with an entrance straight into the theatre."
  • "Easy and convenient parking next door at the Regent Arcade car park with direct access."

  • "Very handy to be able to park in the same building and walk right into the theatre."
  • "Excellent parking next door in regent arcade."
  • "Great location in Cheltenham with handy parking facilities above, that provides direct access to the theatre."

Cons:

  • "The new brochure has arrived but it is impossible to work out what the ticket prices are!"
  • "The seats are torture devices up in the top level Stalls."
  • "The seats are way too small and uncomfortable, no leg room at all, people were crammed in and on a warm evening it seemed a good idea to put the heating on high!?!??? It was far too hot and uncomfortable."
  • "Toilets cramped so long cue."
  • "Poor seating ....if you are over the age of 6-7 don't bother with the balcony seating as leg room is not included in the ticket prices."
  • "Not enough space for drinks / circulation before and interval and the bathrooms are ridiculously small and badly designed."
  • "Two payment machines for a 450 place carpark is ridiculous too, especially as we couldn't find one of them!"

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Parking available in Regent arcade which was £2.50 for the evening (after 6pm)."
  • "Drinks are cheap."
  • "Free parking around the area and it's a busy, lively area so nearby restaurants, pubs etc."
  • "You can park in the regency multi story for £2.50, which is pretty good considering the revised one way system is a bit funky now and makes it tricky to park in a rush in the streets!"

Cons:

  • "Only thing I wasn't happy with was the price of the snacks, my jaw nearly hit the floor when we asked for 4 bags of sweets."
  • "The drink prices are overly-inflated."
  • "£3 for a small tub of ice-cream was a bit steep but you have to expect to pay through the nose at any entertainment venue I suppose."
  • "I'm giving the place 4-stars as the drink prices are overly-inflated and they should look to impose a required dress-code."
