  • "Our host Ben and server Shem were amazing. We were greeted with such warmth followed by a very attentive Shem waiting on us, he was above and beyond and met our needs."

Cons:

  • "Throughout our entire meal we were not offered a second drink and despite attempts we could not get any attention to order a drink."
  • "Slow service. Had to remind the waiter about our olives (waiting over 30mins for something that doesn’t even need cooking)."
  • "We were then left and not asked if we wanted any drinks for 25 mins."
  • "Poor service. We ordered a starter and main. The starter came out quickly but after waiting 50 minutes for the main to arrive, we decided to pay for what we'd had and leave."
  • "Unfortunately they were short staffed and the service was very, very slow and the food was lukewarm."
  • "We realised we had been overlooked when folk after us were served before us."
  • "Great food, but very very slow service."

Cons:

  • "Chicken was hard, portions were small & potatoes cold."
  • "Paid £15 for a sharing platter that consisted of a bowl of olives, 4 slices of salami and ham, and 2 bits of bread."
  • "Our next set of food was nice and hot, but some of it was burnt."
  • "I had a chicken pasta dish which barely had any chicken in it."
  • "The pizza was pale and soggy, lacking seasoning, and the chips certainly not triple cooked as the menu described."
  • "Food: Edible, but not great (cheese on a pizza was not fully melted, crispy pork belly as crispy as insoles)."

  • "The problem for us was the noise, almost impossible to hear yourself think let alone have a conversation."
  • "The music was a little loud."
  • "Not a great ambience experience when you're seated behind an adult couple who believe it's fine to let their young children screech and squeal loudly, shout and stand all over the chairs."
  • "The neighborhood had a lot of small coffee shops so it was nice to be able to eat at a nice restaurant with a view of the port."

Value for Money

  • "Amazing Sunday roast. Beef was perfectly cooked."

Cons:

  • "Shocking!! - Christmas meal for 20 people last night and we were sat outside, absolutely freezing despite most of us dining with coats and hats on."
  • "Paid £15 for a sharing platter that consisted of a bowl of olives, 4 slices of salami and ham, and 2 bits of bread."
  • "It seems rather expensive for what it is, a bowl of pasta and a sauce at around £14!"
  • "At £12 I definitely wouldn't be ordering that next time."
  • "When the £15 pizza arrived it was basically a margarita pizza with 3 bits of chorizo and approx 3 mushrooms and 5 very small peppers."
  • "The £15 burger was a £9 burger and other meals (bar the steak) were not priced that well. Paying for venue not the food."
  • "Sadly the food was awful & SO over-priced."
