Customer Service

Pros:

  • "Today my car automatically locked with keys, granddaughter and dog locked inside. Kellie in the petrol station was both kind lending me her phone to call AA and refused to take money for call and gave me a hot drink whilst waiting for AA as it was freezing and offered me her jacket to keep warm. 1st class."
  • "The Staff are very friendly and helpful."

  • "The cafe let's this supermarket down. Visited twice over last 2 weeks. Cutlery dirty, staff indifferent, long wait for breakfast when it eventually turns up after a 30 minute wait Luke warm with burnt toast!! When raised with manager totally indifferent. No apology or resolution!! Not going back. Avoid!!"
  • "I was verbally attacked when I tried on a hat."

Store Layout & Facilities

Pros:

  • "It's a large Sainsbury with plenty of parking and an associated fuel station."
  • "Love this supermarket. Lots of space to move around."
  • "Biggest sainsburys in the country so lots of choices. Isles wide, bright and spacious."
  • "They have a parking outside."
  • "The car parking is excellent."
  • "Also has a restaurant, and timpsons shoe repair in-store."
  • "Nice large store with plenty of products available. Split over two levels with clothing and a cafe upstairs."

Cons:

  • "Still a fantastic store, but the car park is a disaster. Pick the wrong time to shop, then better buy a snack."
  • "Problems arise with empty spaces on shelves as well as difficulty locating products which are not where you expect them to be eg oriental sauces and dehumidifiers."
  • "Massive store where sometimes you get lost trying to find the right thing. Not many store assistants to help. The ones you find are too busy to help the customers."
  • "The actual supermarket is fine... but the parking is terrible and needs to be sorted."
  • "Where's the cafe/restaurant gone? The upstairs clothing area now just seems a mess with the toilet stuck out in an unused area."
  • "Was ok, carpark badly designed, as drainage dips in the road are followed with speed bumps as you exit the dip."
  • "The fact that the shop is upstairs is weird and rather unwelcoming."
