Spa Treatments
Pros:
"I made the Karma treatment and it was incredible!"
"Suffered with chronic and persistent pain in my shoulders for years and years and have put off going to get a massage the entire time. Finally got bought a tailor made session for my birthday and it felt borderline life changing!"
"The massage itself was wonderful, not the intense deep tissue I'm used to, but more relaxing and soothing-exactly what it says on the tin!"
"Had a gift voucher for a snow fairy bath experience for Christmas. The bath was amazing."
"I had the Tangled Hair Treatment with Christina which includes head massage and shoulder and arm massage."
"Incredible experience at Lush Liverpool yesterday. Would absolutely recommend the Comforter treatment."
"I had the most amazing experience today at the Lush Spa."
Cons:
"I ordered over £130 off the website on boxing day to receive not a single gift set just 4 loose bath bombs, if they can't handle the online sale then they shouldn't promote one."
"Although within about 5 minutes I've lost the will to live, have a banging headache and almost passed out from seeing the prices!"
"Santa himself didn't really stand out as the star of the show and probably had the least engagement with the children out of everyone."
"Baths aren't for me. I don't really fancy sitting in Steve soup."
"The only let down was the price of Christmas grotto that was far to steep."
"Had one of their top massage package. Pricy and more of gimmick rather than really asking & targeting what the customer wants."
"The shop is very large, very busy, quite loud and a little overwhelming. Avoid if you're not the biggest fan of crowds."
Customer Service
Pros:
"A lovely staff member called Josh came over and offered to test some bath bombs with us."
"Great place take the kids. There is always something going on and they always love to give the kids the attention but letting them try all the products."
"They were so tentative and provided the full experience from touch, smell and sounds."
"Wandered into lush for the first time and was made to feel extremely welcome by the lovely staff members Ebony and Heiroa."
"What a great experience, every staff member we came into contact with made us feel fabulous."
"The staff are always so friendly, my favourite lush store ever to visit!"
"Great Customer Service. Despite arriving as it was opening the store was already busy yet the staff showed great customer service."
Cons:
"PS, coffee was horrible (cold expresso is the worst), but staff were very kind and trying their best (just get a barista!) :-)"
"Although the Handy Gurugu cream is something I swear by... it’s expensive and even though the staff are nice I hate their constant pestering."
"It all ended once my wife told her straight to leave us alone and then we walked out of the shop without buying anything at all."
"Went here Christmas shopping only to be harassed by one sales assistant."
"One of the worst Lush stores i’ve ever been to, yes it’s a big store and has more stock than the others but the staff are the biggest let down."
"We were waiting about 15 minutes to be served at the spa to buy a voucher."
"Unfortunately they didn’t have the staff to do this however, they let them pick and play with a bath bomb in water and showed them how the bubble bombs worked!"
Store Layout & Atmosphere
Pros:
"The store is really well layed out with a conveyer built for the bath bombs and sprays for something a bit different!"
"Visited Lush Shampoo Spa today and the experience was wonderful, the best hair wash and blow Hatti was absolutely amazing."
"It's enormous. I was surprise by how diverse the services are on offer including a little cafe bit, skin consults and a hair section offering a festive blow dry."
"This is the largest Lush in the world! It smells divine and it has more than just the products in sale here."
"From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere, delightful scents, and welcoming staff."
"The new Lush store in Liverpool opened a few weeks ago and it's intense assault on the senses spread over three floors."
"The largest lush store in the world offering nearly their entire range here."
Cons:
"The downstairs cafe was closed... so I couldn't sit down to breastfeed my baby. When we asked about somewhere to go instead, I was shown up to the little perfume section at the back where there was a comfortable armchair."
"Only comment I would say is press release advertised snow fairy or intergalactic bath bomb making and instead it was groovy fairy or snow dragon (which was actually just snow fairy in a snow dragon mould) - which are both smaller products."
"I would prefer it personally if all the bath/shower items were on one floor grouped by product type (bubble bath/bath bombs/shower gel/soap etc) so as I only had to go to one place for each product rather than traipsing up to the top floor for my daughter to decide she wants the one from the ground floor!"
"Definitely something different. I won't say too much as don't want to ruin it for others but our favourite room was the intergalactic inspired one - adults and kids alike."
