Booking & Appointments

Pros:

  • "Ok, so there is waiting times and allocated hours to call - but that's just a reality when it comes to GPs in London and it's not isolated to Lawrence House."
  • "And when it really matters, I've always been able to get a quick call with a GP. I've just had to thoroughly explain my reasoning to the receptionist."
  • "5 star quality service. I have never had to wait more than 3 working days for an appointment."

  • "Terrible operating system, can only book weeks in advance or in a phone call free for all at 8am considering they don’t have a phone queuing system and simply deny your call."
  • "It is impossible to get an appointment! You need to book 2 months in advance."
  • "To get an appointment you must call at 8 am (that's ok for me), the problem is that the line isn't working at that time, it tells you that the surgery is still closed or the number you call is wrong or just hang up with nobody getting the phone."

  • "Nurse Glenda Taylor is awesome kind proactive sensitive skilled professional. Couldn't feel more cared for."
  • "Taymack, Sujitha and Chloe continuously assist and advise me with patience, care and understanding and are extremely kind and helpful always."
  • "I have been a patient of Dr Spary since December and he has been an absolutely brilliant and truly phenomenal Doctor."

  • "Beyond that, staff are rude and not understanding."
  • "The receptionists are miserable, rude and provide conflicting information."
  • "I am going to try and give the most constructive feedback as I can as I do appreciate that the staff here don’t always have it easy, but it is difficult to sympathise with them when their behaviour towards the this GP practice is often borderline passive-aggressive and dismissive."

Facilities & Infrastructure

  • "Have only had excellent experiences at the practice but: Aircon would improve everything.. there's a tropical atmosphere for staff and patients."

  • "Please be aware of the parking. I got fined because I was not aware I had to register my vehicle, it's a new system. Receptionist failed to mention. No signs."
  • "The test itself was ok, quick but the room was smelling very very very bad!"

Doctors and Medical Service

  • "Dr Rohan has been wonderful- he has a manner that makes you forget he only has 7 minutes per patient."
  • "I’d love to leave five stars for the excellent Dr Rohan- he was kind, courteous, and dealt with an ear infection my son had with straight answers and explanations as to why he had the symptoms he had."
  • "Dr Tan and Dr Ahmad are 2 of the best doctors (if not the best) that I have ever had the pleasure to be seen by. I cannot commend them enough."

Cons:

  • "Most of the doctors never examined me when I told them my symptoms."
  • "The doctors here are mediocre, if you dare have an issue where they have to apply for nhs funding, my god do the doctors make you feel bad for saying you need this surgery done."

Receptionists/Reception Service

  • "Absolutely excellent surgery so so helpful receptionist and all team 10-10."
  • "I can see why others have reported the receptionists as being rude, sitting in reception a few times recently they do have a lot do deal with, and plenty of people being very rude to them, personally I have always been polite to them and they have always been very polite to me."

Cons:

  • "If I can give-5 , I will give it. The worst receptionist I ever met . Very arrogante , never do they job."
  • "They don’t answer the phone. When you do go into reception and ask a question they can’t seem to answer anything."

Overall Experience

Pros:

  • "Seen three different doctors and a nurse at this surgery and all of them have been absolutely excellent, very thorough, kind, friendly and have provided excellent care for me and my daughter."

Cons:

  • "I’ve been a patient here for years but I’m fed up of this place."
  • "The worst health surgery ever. They are not helpful."
