  • "Food was very good, one of the best pizzas I’ve had out."
  • "The sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection and partners bratwurst was also lovely."
  • "The food was very good, freshly made and served quickly."

Cons:

  • "Food was shocking."
  • "The only draw back for me is, that twice now, I’ve had unfinished drinks taken from the table on two separate occasions!"
  • "The kids burger was of a poor quality."
  • "The macaroni cheese I ordered for over £7 a tiny portion and v poor quality."
  • "By the time we got our food, it was all burned."
  • "Table of 8 ordered in 3 groups on the App. Main courses arrived before the starters, one item ordered (cheeseburger) was inedible (burger was burnt to the point it was rock solid)."

Service

Pros:

  • "Lovely atmosphere, clean. Easy to imagine yourself in Germany."
  • "Been a while since I've left a restaurant with such a positive experience thus, without doubt will be returning again."

  • "The staff service was fantastic, never keeping you waiting too long."

Cons:

  • "The band were fantastic but some of the staff were very moody and impolite."
  • "Waited an hour for 4 drinks (ordered table service) had to chase twice."
  • "Staff slow, was told 30 mins for food on a Thursday night, which was fine, took 40 mins."
  • "Had a table booked here on Saturday evening and from the minute we entered we was seated by the rudest most miserable waitress I have ever come across."
  • "Waited patiently at the bar for service from one of the two staff members present, only for both of them to disappear in opposite directions almost simultaneously after finishing serving other customers, leaving me stranded in the middle of the bar having still not been served."
  • "Clearly bar staff need training in serving customers...won't bother going back!"

Atmosphere

Pros:

  • "Live rock music was a huge bonus and the food was not too bad."
  • "Very clean and a lovely place. Will be back."
  • "This place has been really turned around since the refurb.. decor is much better, really clean and fresh and interesting."

  • "Delicious beer. Nice bar and good Atmosphere."
  • "The music was very entertaining (DJ, sax and Live band). We had so much fun."
  • "The atmosphere and decor inside was really nice."

Cons:

  • "The volume was ridiculously loud for sitting down to eat a meal."
  • "Gets busy when football matches are on and Friday/Saturday nights."
  • "It just has a really tacky vibe to the place & I do not recommend it at all."
  • "But every time I’ve been the music gets ramped up to club level volume when they’re still serving food and it makes it impossible to enjoy your food."
  • "Music too loud."
  • "Went out Halloween weekend..... like 3 Halloween type songs all night I think was very low."
  • "The other issue with the music is that it’s poorly mixed and ends up being really harsh."
