Soft Play Area
Pros:
"The vibrant atmosphere and exciting play structures kept me and my kids entertained for hours."
"Our (just turned) 3 year old enjoyed it here. Although admittedly it was mainly due to the soft play."
"You walk in and there's a huge soft play which is great."
"It was raining so unfortunately we couldn’t use any of the outdoor activities, but my 2 year old daughter loved the soft play and inflatable area."
"The soft plat and inflatables are worth the entry price alone, I think we could have spent all day swapping between the two!"
"Indoor play area was fantastic and plenty to do."
"The indoor inflatable is the best part."
"Absolutely brilliant place to take the kids, fun for adults too haha."
Cons:
"The castle with the slide was a bit sad, nothing interactive on it to actually keep the kids entertained or encourage role play."
"The indoor play area was very small and on the basic side compared to many others we visit."
Outdoor Activities
Pros:
"Fire engine and helicopter worth a visit."
"The outdoor bouncy pillow wasn’t used as it was a wet day when we visited - no fault of the park, but worth thinking about what indoor activities there are before you visit."
"Holmside Park is great. Although there was not very much activity for my 21 month old daughter."
"They have something for everyone! The staff were great easy to approach and never once got annoyed at the 101 questions we had."
"Amazing place we went on a school day so we had the full park to ourselves!!"
"Great visit, will definitely be going back."
"It was a good place for the kids to play but as an adult you have to pay £5 for the privilege of sitting in a chair and watching your child play."
"The kids loved the big bouncing pillows and the sandpit."
Cons:
"The outdoor bouncy pillow wasn’t used as it was a wet day."
"Overall this was very disappointing and next time we look for a day adventure we will go to Adventure Valley."
"Equipment really old and dated, fire engine dropping to bits and the helicopter even worse condition."
"The whole place could do with a massive makeover."
"The outdoor area's were rather limited although it was interesting and good fun been able to climb into a fire engine and helicopter they have there."
Value for Money
Pros:
"Came today with my husband and two kids as a playdate with 2 other family's and what a great day had by all! Holmside Park is the best play area around suitable for all the family at great value for money!"
"Great venue for all ages. Really good value for money for tickets."
"This place is amazing. Ages 4 plus have access to everything."
"The only time I see the kids is when they're running back to the table for a drink, grinning and sweating and telling me what they'd been up to before sprinting off."
Cons:
"Dropped one star due to the poor value for money for a 3 year old with 2 additional paying adults."
"This place is very over priced for what is on offer."
"Honestly the worst £30 Iv ever spent when could of went to a park and done the same thing."
"Fuel (40min drive), food, entrance and drinks almost 120 quid all in."
"I found it quite expensive in terms of money for what you got."
"1 adult and 3 children £36 + £5 for my wife who is in a wheelchair and unable to participate in anything so £41 for 3 children an absolute disgrace."
