Dinosaurs and Dinosaur Park
Pros:
"The dinosaurs are so good and so many to be seen, even as an adult I was impressed."
"Easily one of the best dinosaur displays in the world as they say."
"If you or your children are into dinosaurs, then you are in for treat."
"The dinosaurs....so many and are moving, I have never seen such a big dinosaur display."
"Dinosaurs in the park were amazing. Frankly, I have not seen so many moving dinosaurs anywhere in UK till now."
"The dinosaur park surrounding all the caves is a brilliant attraction for the kids and adds a lot to the experience."
"The Dinosaur Park had as many adults pointing and going wow as the younger ones."
Cons:
"Some dinosaurs were odd looking but would count it as fun for adults and kids."
"The dinosaurs models are alright, great for kids but not for me, they're are just decorations and filler."
"Some of the pathways to dinosaurs (down to the stream) were closed."
Caves
Pros:
"An absolutely fantastic few hours! The caves were beautiful and fascinating."
"The showcave offers a unique and exciting experience for visitors to explore the incredible natural wonders of the underground world."
"Despite 1 cave being closed (presumably due to Covid restrictions) the other 2 caves were incredible!"
"The sheer scale of it is so impressive, as are the underground rivers and lakes, and the highlight for me was the waterfalls in the cathedral cave."
"Cave 1 was easy enough walk. Very interesting."
"The caves are amazing much better than l imagined."
"The caves were just magical, especially the Cathedral Cave."
Cons:
"The paths are quite steep in places, and some areas are simply not wheelchair or buggy friendly at all."
"Unfortunately tho they aren't accessible for push chairs or wheel chairs as there are lots of steps about."
"The audio announcements are probably interesting but they are inaudible in the caves."
"Bone cave was very narrow and low head clearance, so it will be difficult for people with mobility issues."
"The bones cave was very disappointing, not much was to be seen there."
"It's not a pristine, untouched cave (not the tourist part, at least!) and there are some fairly tacky things, in my opinion - e.g the wedding ceremony area."
"Lots of excited kids in the cave made it impossible to hear the audio commentary."
Facilities and Accessibility
Pros:
"Nice welcoming."
"The place was very well kept with kind staff."
"Dog friendly."
"The staff are friendly."
"Staff were very friendly and helpful."
"The site was clean and tidy as were the toilets."
"Parking is right out front and the staff are helpful and seem to really enjoy working there."
Cons:
"The capucchino and coffee were not good and lunch was ok."
"Cafe: dogs cannot go in - the cafe wasn't great, very limited food options and the coffee was not good."
"However, I do think there should be more toilets in different locations as the only restrooms are at the entrance."
"Toilets are limited with only one in the farm area and one in the dinosaur area and none near the caves."
"The only negative was the limited selection of food at the café, so would suggest packing a picnic."
"The food from the cafe was not good, would avoid the baguettes and bring a packed lunch next time."
"Toilets and baby change can only be accessed by leaving and re-entering the park which is a bit of a pain, especially with so much to see inside."
Value and Experience
Pros:
"Fantastic day out and incredible value."
"Highly recommend! It worth its price."
"Worth every penny. But to make the most of it try and spend the day there."
"Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend this to anyone."
"WOW, absolutely fantastic day out."
"A great day out, very reasonably priced ticket as there is a lot included."
"Absolutely loved it here. Loads to do and see so great value for money."
Cons:
"For the money I feel it's very expensive for what you actually get."
"It is very expensive especially as a family activity and it would be great if they did a locals rate or a yearly discounted family pass."
"Paid almost £100 for a family of five, but it was every penny worth it."
"It is a lot of money but I felt worth my visit and I'm glad I went on such a lovely sunny day."
