Customer Service and Staff Attitude

Pros:

• "The Range in Durham is always a pleasure to visit. Easy parking, great range of products and super friendly and helpful staff."
• "Staff friendly and helpful. Store has plenty free parking, a coffee shop upstairs, a small Iceland inside, and a wide variety of goods."
• "Visiting the store for 2 quilling sets that Julie had gone to another store to collect before starting her shift here. I very much appreciate Julie going that extra mile. She is a credit to the store. Thank you."

• "Staff would just leave the tills at random intervals which led to huge queues!"
• "Poor staff service - calling to check the stock of Calor Gas before making the journey. Was told by the helpful lady on the phone that she would not ask the warehouse staff, and that I would have to make the journey and ask if there was stock in person."
• "Staff misadvised me when making a purchase, resulting in myself making a wasted journey to return an unused item 20 days later and the policy has been changed to 14 days."

• "Very well set store with good value products. It also incorporates some of the Wilko brands as well."
• "Prices are decent and there is a huge range of products, some are pretty cheap and nasty but they are easy to walk past."
• "The range is pretty much the shop that has the lot, but on my visit today some isles were blocked solid with pallets etc and Sod’s Law they would be the isles I wanted."

• "The aisles are quite narrow compared to other Range stores, it doesn't have the full range of items either. There is an Iceland within the shop... which just seems strange."
• "Not very well laid out compared to other Range stores I've visited. The aisles seemed narrow, quite closed in and felt claustrophobic and I don't even suffer with claustrophobia."

• "I do like the range, but you have to keep your wits about you with the pricing. Some bargains to be had but occasionally, like a lot of similar places, pricing is higher than the bigger names."
• "Love it in here.. Only danger spending too much. Their prices seem to have escalated a bit.. Could just be in keeping with everyone else hiking their prices too."

• "Thought I was picking up a bargain. Product sign said £69.99 reduced from £100. Got to till and queried amount charged. Seems product wasn’t actually reduced."
• "Prices are always wrong on special deals, every time I'm in there and pay for something they charge me full price for reduced stock and the staff are highly untrained."
