"The food and coffeee are fantastic, just as the atmosphere is."
"Superb food and service. Portion were huge and fairly priced!"
Cons:
"Almost £8 for a tiny milkshake is ridiculous."
"The food was tasty but way overpriced for the portion."
"We ordered the afternoon tea for 2 which consists of 2 tiny pieces of bread with egg mayo and tiny bit of salmon on top."
"Horrible STAFF and NOT VEGETARIAN Friendly! We order the VEGGIE BURGER and they gave us a BEEF BURGER!"
"Food was terrible poached eggs were rubbery and tasted of vinegar."
"Just come out of the NY deli cafe and couldn’t believe the price! I paid over £25 for a coffee, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes avocado and sourdough toast!"
"Food is average, had an awkward moment when it arrived and the waitress asked if we were waiting for drinks that they had clearly forgotten about."
"Absolutely tasteless lemon iced tea. Literally a splash of breakfast tea and a slice of lemon into a cup of iced water for £2.80."
Service Quality
Pros:
"Staff are extremely friendly and the manager approach us to check up on us."
"Family owned business lead by a highly skilled and extremely passionate chef and his ever so caring and welcoming wife."
"Lovely cafe with excellent food, atmosphere and service. The staff are very friendly and they recommended a wine to go with my steak."

"Excellent value for money with half a cow's worth of meat on rye, with outdoor patio seating and fully air-conditioned indoor dining."
"The staff are kind and considerate, the food is deliciously prepared and the atmosphere is really calming and wholesome."
"Stopped in this cute cafe for a hot chocolate after a rainy walk in Hampstead Heath. Definitely one of the best hot chocolates I have had - so creamy and rich! The owner was lovely too, and it's a really nice space."
Cons:
"The food was tasty but way overpriced for the portion. Then they add the 'optional' service charge, which was definitely not worth an additional cost."
"Horrible STAFF and NOT VEGETARIAN Friendly! We order the VEGGIE BURGER and they gave us a BEEF BURGER! The girl who took the order was VERY RUDE."
"Customer service was awful, was told I needed to ask how I wanted my poached eggs when they’re always come with a soft yolk. The manager was rude when we asked to take the eggs off the bill."
"The ambiance was cosy and lovely, nice staff members and food tasted good! However, the price on the menu is not what you pay (I'm guessing it was service charge) if you're eating in and came as a bit of surprise when paying."
"After placing your order at the counter, the cashier automatically deducts from your bank card the 'optional' service charge before you have even received either the service or the food."
"Hands down the worst service I have received in a long time. Unhelpful and rude staff and management."
"Terrible coffee, horrendously pricy and terrible music."
"Thought to support small businesses in these tough times instead of of the famous high street deli's and cafe's. However, truly disappointed in the watery coffees and croissants that seems very old and dry...."
Ambiance and Facilities
Pros:
"Lovely cafe with excellent food, atmosphere and service."
"Cozy Cafe with great friendly service."
"Nice little cozy cafe."
"Visited this lovely, quaint cafe today for breakfast - it was a bit busy, but that’s to be expected for a Sunday morning."
"They have a garden that’s open to visitors at the moment and every table comes with a personal heater in case You get cold."
"The atmosphere of the cafe and its garden is just amazing."
"The best coffee shop in Hampstead; great ambience, high quality service, delicious food and pastry, and above all very friendly staff."
"A lovely, cute, quiet café conveniently close to Hampstead station. Has a very independent, village feel thanks to the comfortable garden furniture."
"I had the Shepards pie, it was probably the best one I have had. The service was fantastic and it was such a nice environment that I didn’t want to go back to work."
"Hidden gem. Stopped there randomly and wasn't disappointed. Had french toast with bacon and syrup, and the bacon was super crisp and tasty! French toast perfectly done and presentation impeccable. Ambiance a plus, with jazz in the background."
Cons:
"Unfortunately doesn’t have baby nappy change facilities, but they accommodated space for the pushchair (we visited with a 6 months old baby)."
"I could not see any WiFi codes advertised and I had little phone signal whilst in the building which was disappointing."
"- Although we had a reservation, we were only offered a table outside. temperature was 1C. To be fair there were heaters but doesn't feel great at a time of energy crisis and global warming..."
"Premises are super badly insulated and super cold, I personally didn’t spot any radiators anywhere where radiators are usually installed (such as next to the window, in the toilet, etc). We were cold during our entire stay."
"The ambiance was cosy and lovely, nice staff members and food tasted good! However, the price on the menu is not what you pay (I'm guessing it was service charge) if you're eating in and came as a bit of surprise when paying."
"Best salt beef sandwich since I ate at the Carnegie Deli W57th street. Very generous portion of salt beef, accompanied by real chips. You may find it stretches to 2 meals. Not cheap but for that quality, I consider it value for money. Helpful, welcoming staff. Takeaway only in these Covid times."
