Animal Encounters

Pros:

• "The animals are really close and gives you a very personal experience compared to any zoos I have been to."
• "Amazing. Drove around twice, saw many cool animals, best day out this summer."

• "We saw more of the animals especially the Black Bears and Wolves and the cheeky Rhinos."

• "A very expensive traffic jam!!!! Experience ruined by the greedy park letting way too many cars through."

• "It was a bit disappointing that many of the wilder and more dangerous animals seemed exhausted and so they were lying down or having a nap."

• "When I went all the animals seem either tired or not interested so didn't get to see much as price isn't worth what they charge if you ask me."

• "Clear big signs of entry and exit from the Safari would be good to have."

• "Almost all facilities were closed inside the park (Cafés and ice-cream shops) only the main restaurant were open and the waiting time to order and pay was unbelievable!!"

• "Vegetarian or vegan food options are terrible. That must be improved, the position size is shocking small compared to meet and fish options."
• "Food in the restaurants was expensive as you expect at these places, but it was expensive and awful really."

Cons:

• "HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE (Only left 1 star as couldn’t post without it.)" - Regarding the refusal of entry for a disabled individual without a blue badge.
• "Excessive visitors, beyond a sensible volume, even meant that all the disabled parking spaces were full."
• "Every time we nearly saw an animal we wanted to see they drove the VIP safari cars in front of you and completely blocked our view."
• "Not loads of disabled loos, the main restaurant one was closed and we had a long wait as there was a bit of a queue in the other one nearby."
• "This show was awful, no back up plan, the sea lion did not want to do anything... and all we had was an apology, didn't even give people their money back."
• "Only thing they need to improve which hope they will consider doing is at foot safari is wayfinding as it's unclear and confusing for people when going to certain animals."
