Service
Pros:
"The waiters were very polite and were able to answer all of our requests."
"Adil and his wonderful team looked after everyone so well."
"Edith our waitress was fantastic. She was bubbly and welcoming which made our experience all that more pleasurable."
"Laura M took good care of me as I was travelling alone, she made me feel very comfortable."
"Fantastic service. Laura cleaned our table straight away and made sure our food was ordered and service as quickly as possible."
"Service from the wonderful Laura was superb! She was immediately very accommodating and welcoming."
"Food arrived quickly after ordering. One meal was cold on arrival but Laura and Sam were amazing and sorted this within minutes."
"Really friendly staff, food good (good portion of curry and naan+poppadom), so good to no have to wait long for drink or food."
Cons:
"Nice bar, but if 6 staff are behind the bar and 4 customers are waiting to be served, you'd expect to be served, right? No! 1 bottling up, 4 playing with their phones and comparing hair, 1 serving (slowly)."
"No one that I could see was taking orders at tables. You can order online after all, but whether ordering is online only or not I am not sure. Certainly there is no proactive effort to check in with customers as they arrive or sit down."
"Long queue, slow service, miserable standard of food."
"The usual eye-watering airport prices. Let down by absolutely filthy tables, which no member of staff ever seemed to clean."
"All tables dirty and full of used crockery no staff to clean so we cleaned it ourselves."
"The gluten free menu here is unwieldy and the service to get help was confused."
"Staff were friendly but the online system charged me twice. Staff gave me a link to follow as the charges were 'pending' they couldn't refund me on the day."
"Would give 5 stars but in the time I was waiting for my order a manager started arguing with an employee at the till that there shouldn't be this many people manning the tills."
Food Quality
Pros:
"Used order at table app. Cup of tea arrived in just a couple of minutes, breakfast about 5 mins later. Nice food, super fast service."
"The food was spot on and you could tell that quality ingredients were used so it's worth it."
"Food was bang average however & not worth the money, we had the breakfast roll, half a sausage and slap of plastic cheese - bread roll was super dry, ketchup couldn’t even help it."
"Really friendly staff, food good (good portion of curry and naan+poppadom), so good to no have to wait long for drink or food."
"Very clean and stunning deco for Christmas. Also has outlets for charging phones which for an airport are invaluable. Food priced about as you'd expect in an airport but all tasted great! Well worth a stop."
"Good place to go in the busy airport. Plenty of seats and the restaurant was clean and modern. Food came out cold but was immediately replaced with a fresh, hot meal."
"Both our breakfasts arrived COLD. It's hard to get the attention of staff so we ate them before we could actually complain. Our food was refunded but I'd much rather have had a nice hot breakfast."
"Adil - what a nice guy. Knows how to sell a cheesecake. He truly believes in it and I was sorry to break his heart after all the Christmas indulgence. Had a decent Cesar salad. Hot breaded chicken was a pleasant surprise."
Cons:
"The food was lovely but not very hot, I arrived right when the restaurant opened which I thought the food would be nice and warm but it wasn’t."
"Full English breakfast £14.99p. Stone cold food looked like it had been under lamps for hours eggs Rock hard to be fair they changed it and gave me exactly the same but very 🔥 hot shoved in the microwave no doubt don't waste your money."
"Ordered a plant based burger. If I hadn't paid in advance, I would have returned it and left. The burger itself was hard and tasteless. Burger bun soggy."
"The normal sausage bap was supposedly okay. The plant-based one wasn't hot and the sausage it was difficult to bite all the way through."
"Food was mediocre, nothing special for the price."
"Food looked good but tasted awful! The chips were clearly reheated! Small portions for a lot of money!"
"This place had nice food and incredibly attentive and friendly staff. Particularly Adil, super friendly guy offering also nice suggestions for food choice."
"Do not order the eggs Benedict, probably the worst breakfast I've had. The hollandaise tastes of old malt vinegar and the ham is the rubbery reconstituted ham variety."
Price
Pros:
"It’s not the most economical restaurant but well worth what you pay."
"Not the cheapest, but hey, it's in the departure lounge, so that's to be expected...... a step up from Weatherspoons!!"
"Prices reasonable for an airport. Ruddy good Guinness."
"We had some delicious vegan food by Fanny’s Kebabs which was surprisingly good and surpassed standard airport food by far. Prices here were also reasonable."
"Food arrived within 15 minutes and nice and hot and looked like had been cooked pretty fresh. For a local airport food outlet this was pretty good."
"After our flight being delayed and spending 15 hours in the airport, we ended up having breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Factory! The lovely atmosphere helped to pass the time, great staff, particularly L Morrissey who took the time to have a lovely chat with us and made sure we were looked after. Food and drinks were all great, easy to order and accepted the airline compensatory food vouchers whereas Wetherspoons would not! I would definitely recommend The Factory 😃"
"The food was delicious and the team are all very friendly and attentive. A special mention to Laura who kindly replaced my drink with no issues and a big smile! Would recommend."
"Visited today before our flight and absolutely no issues whatsoever. Nice food and good drink selection. Food arrived within 15 minutes and nice and hot and looked like had been cooked pretty fresh."
Cons:
"Well, got a breakfast this morning. Fry was average, but you shouldn't expect any hot drink with it 🙈 no prices against hot drinks menu, made me think tea or americano is included in a price of your breakfast. For 3 teas (3 cups with warm water and 3 PG tea bags, and a tiny pot of milk) paid £10.35 plus nearly 40 quid for breakfast."
"We wanted a sit down breakfast before our flight and it cost us almost £40 for two eggs Benedict, orange juice, tea & extra hash brown and avocado. The food was great however the portion size of the avocado that they charged £2.50 was probably MAXIMUM two tablespoons, it was definitely not worth the money."
"Seriously, overpriced and clearly making money from a captive audience. Avoid. You’re better off with a meal deal from WHSmith or Boots. You’ll pay around £15 for a basic burger barely a step up from McDonald’s 99p range and it’s not heightened in value by the service… because that’s basic too."
"At the best part of £40 for 2 breakfasts and drinks, you might be thinking you're in for a gastronomic taste explosion. Sadly not."
"Over inflated prices as your now stuck in the airport after going through checkin. £49 for 2 burger and minimal chips, glass of wine and a pint of beer."
"£69.68 for 3 burgers and 3 cokes!!! ...oh and plus the built in 12.5% service charge...all payable up front. It states cash payments on all the table information but this is not the case, card payments only, apparently they have not changed their information since before covid."
"Just under £30 for a pint and so called "double loaded" burger which is no more substantial than a big Mac at 6 times the price. Side of sweet potato fries were oil drenched and claggy."
"Ordered a cheese burger and a Caesar Salad. Ordered on the app, and food took about 15 minutes to arrive. Burger patty was dry, and there was no cheese?! I know everything is more expensive at the airport, but £15 for a disappointing burger seems overpriced."
