Customer Service

Pros:

  • "Lucy was on reception and answered my call, she was so lovely and really sweet when answering my call when I was really distressed."
  • "Always greeted with a smile ... such a family vibe!"
  • "Very professional, polite and friendly staff."
  • "Reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful, as are all the nurses I have met."
  • "Always a friendly welcome, from reception to consultation room, great knowledge of my Hulk."
  • "The staff are always so helpful and understanding."
  • "Everyone from the reception to examination room we were treated with respect and friendly staff."

Cons:

  • "I am changing vets because they put money before treatment of the animal."
  • "After many years of confidence in our vet, we just found out that their reporting to our pet insurance didn't match with the information provided on our appointments making our pet get excluded of certain insurance cover."
  • "First time I used this vets and will not recommend to anyone. Waited for a call back from the practice manager and 4 days later still no response."
  • "the worst vets practice I’ve ever visited and money grab at every opportunity."
  • "Extremely rude and arrogant receptionist name of Petra, she was extremely unhelpful and everything I asked was a problem."
  • "Their phone calls aren’t recorded and I can only assume that’s so they can’t listen back to their mistakes and rude reception staff."
  • "The vets are bad, The receptionists worse, (looking at you Petra) The practice manager makes my head hurt."

Cost & Transparency

Pros:

  • "Cost is also reasonable for a vet!"
  • "The costs seemed reasonable and you do get a breakdown of costs."
  • "Price was fairly reasonable for an emergency appointment."

Cons:

  • "Also, the vet did explain the cost of prescription. We were prescribed CLX wipes to clean our puppy with and were given a large pack which was £26 however I saw on vets screen there was an option to get a small/medium pack too but we weren't asked for the option we would like to go for and the prices weren't explained."
  • "We have a new puppy and this was our first experience at vets for pets. HOWEVER 8 months down the track and we have discovered that they appear to make the prices up as they go along."
  • "I was charged £32 I think, for the consultation and a astonishing £65 for 21 tablets."
  • "I do however think the cost of treatment is expensive and effects the outcome of decision owners have to make for their lovable pets."
  • "Vets wanting to perform general anaesthetic for a simple x-ray, endangering pets health at inflated costs. I was quoted £450."
  • "Although the staff are extremely lovely, it’s a shame their lack of information on prices lets them down."
  • "I was not made aware of this prior to her doing it, if I was, I wouldn’t of bothered because that’s so expensive!"

Professionalism & Expertise

Pros:

  • "Tudor was the vet who looked at my dog and was very straightforward and helpful with any questions I had regarding my dog's health, he's great!"
  • "Came in with my dog last week and saw Maria who was very professional and thorough and caring and very lovely."
  • "However, very pleased with the new vet 'Peter' he knew straight away what was wrong with Mitch just by looking at his pupils."
  • "The vet examined, cleaned and treated the wound and then explained the medications needed."
  • "The vet that had taken a look at both dogs was extremely knowledgeable and gave great advice on future possible problems."
  • "The best vets by far. I've had cat neutered in the past but I've never seen such a small clean and neat incision."
  • "Marina is an amazing vet."
