  • "The worse cafe I have been in. Half an hour to get served by a member of staff who quite clearly didn't give a damn."
  • "However the woman authorising the alcohol sale in the scan and shop section was extremely rude."

Cons:

  • "Prices to high long queues at the tills not a pleasant experience any more."

  • "No Cafe, more clothes than Bangladesh, cash tills practically closed."
  • "The public toilets aren't the most pleasant, and could do with a more regular clean."
  • "Not a fan of this Sainsbury's during current restrictions. The 1 in 1 out doesn't seem to apply at this store and big groups seem to be shopping together and was like a free for all once inside the shop."

Pricing and Checkout

Pros:

  • "to be honest, it's one of the best quality and cheapest places to shop, I use Sainsbury's for loads of different reasons, one of the best things is the loyalty points, every 2-3 months I get to fill up my tank for nothing."
  • "A One-Stop Shop - this branch of Sainsbo's has virtually all the food items you could ever need, even specialist ones for exotic dishes."
  • "Price wise, I didn't really notice the difference between any other supermarket."
  • "Sainsbury's is ok and the point system is great."

Cons:

  • "Prices too high long queues at the tills not a pleasant experience anymore."
  • "However food prices from sainsburys are higher than your standard supermarket and the world food section will set you back a lot."
  • "I am shocked that the unleaded fuel price at Sainsbury's is still way above the motorway services price."
  • "The item I went for was showing £10 in front of it on the shelf, the till said £22.50. I rejected them, looked at the shelf again, there was not a price for the item on the shelf ..... anywhere and there were a few of them in this shelf!"
  • "Unusually the service on the 24-10-20 @ 1740 on the tills at the Clothing section was shocking. Long queues and only one till operating with staff behind the till busy chatting amongst themselves."
  • "Locals will know that this place is an absolute nightmare to get out from during busy periods."
  • "I tend to shop at Sainsbury's Osmaston most days. My only complaint is that there are never enough checkouts open regardless of the time of day. Also, the nectar points coupons often fail to scan at the checkout and that means having to queue again at customer service to get my points redeemed."
