Play Area and Equipment

Pros:

  • "Absolutely one of the best play centres I have come across."
  • "Interesting soft play, with areas suitable for different ages groups."
  • "The play centre itself is fantastic. It's got a range of slides from gentle wave to practically vertical tummy tickler."
  • "One of the best soft play areas in Sheffield."
  • "Great play zones. Food was tasty and reasonably priced."
  • "The area is safe, clean and well staffed. Toilets are spotless."
  • "My 3yr old absolutely loved this place. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and extremely helpful."
  • "Good soft play, the older kids area is quite big and a separate area for 4yr olds and another for 2 & unders."

Cons:

  • "The under 2's area quite small which was constantly being invaded by older, boisterous children."
  • "As for the soft play itself, it's a little dangerous. The padding has hard cardboard underneath."
  • "The actual play equipment is good with a large variety of things for the kids to do. The slides however are too steep and I saw a lot of children come off them crying."
  • "First visit. Kids were very disappointed that the drop slide wasn't open."
  • "It's disgusting that they make the adults pay £1 charge for the privilege of sitting in with their children."
  • "There's a lot of space for tables and chairs but not that much play equipment for the price."
  • "Had sons party in Medieval Mayhem in Neepsend Sheffield and the food was full of human hair."
  • "What a load of nonsense, 10am on a Sunday and can't get in because they have not tables and apparently that's how they know if they're full."

Staff and Customer Service

Pros:

  • "Staff are friendly and inviting which you don’t tend to find in many play centres."

  • "I'm a P.A for a young lady with autism and learning difficulties and we go here regularly. The staff, particularly Hayley, are incredibly supportive and welcoming."
  • "Very nice soft play with sensible social distancing measures in place. The food served was excellent in comparison to many other similar play centres."
  • "Excellent all round. Second visit here today, first time I've been with just the littlest. Well priced, only a quid for an accompanying adult I think."

Cons:

  • "The staff look absolutely miserable to be there."
  • "The manager is rude and arrogant! Didn't put an order onto our receipt so one of our children had no food."
  • "Staff could be a bit more child friendly. Didn't look like they wanted to be doing it and it impacts the children."
  • "The staff was friendly but I felt no safety adults were running where the babies' area nobody asked them to stop."
  • "Had to pay for my other child to enter even though he wasn’t attending the birthday party or using any of the machines. Purely a money making machine with no ethics."
  • "Also whilst here we overheard staff making derogatory comments about a new girl staff member. This is workplace bullying and needs to be stamped out by management asap."
  • "Was stood waiting to enter for 10 minutes before giving up and leaving. The staff blanked us and seemed to only be interested in serving food."
  • "Nice play area but food ordering is a joke had to wait over an hour for food and all of it was wrong, staff need direction as no 1 had a clue who was doing what!!!!!"

Food and Dining Experience

Pros:

  • "Food is outstanding for a playcentre, very happy with prices and portions."

  • "My 3 year old pooed himself and we had no nappies or wipes and the staff were really helpful, even sorted a change of clothes."
  • "Awesome place and decent prices. Food isn't cheap but is really good."

Cons:

  • "Booked a party here for my 4 year old. Informed the party planner of our guests allergies etc before the party. Only to be seated and our guest be unable to eat any party food."
  • "They clean in-between sessions which is great however they close the shutters and you have to wait outside."
  • "Nothing special this was the first and last time."
  • "I was however 100% disappointed with the food. It was disgusting. Certainly wouldn't recommend eating there."
  • "Thought the venue was ideal for the children the parents were entertained watching the children play and interact with others there is also food and drink. Drawback is the size of the car park for the amount of parents bringing children."
  • "This is my Children’s favourite place on earth, it is great to go and have a coffee while your kids to exercise and play especially if the weather is not good and you’re not really keen to getting wet in the park."
  • "Prices gone through the roof. £2.80+ for a tea and the same for coffee. Nothing special either."
  • "Had to pay for my other child to enter even though he wasn’t attending the birthday party or using any of the machines. Purely a money making machine with no ethics."
