Experience Quality

Pros:

  • "An amazing experience and very possibly the closest feeling to skydiving other than actually skydiving."
  • "It was a great experience. When you're in the wind tunnel it has a similar feeling as a skydive but without the height."
  • "This was our first time attempting this. It was great fun."
  • "Absolutely fantastic! A great place to try out skydiving and to get a taste of skydiving (indoor)."
  • "The experience itself was awesome and the instructor prepares you well and assists you well in the wind tunnel."
  • "What an awesome time! Never having sky-dived before, I thought this would be a good introduction without having to jump out of a plane...and it totally was!"
  • "Quite a thrill! Very fun and well worth the money."

Cons:

  • "Also 45 seconds is hardly worth driving there for."
  • "Really fun everyone enjoyed it but over quick for the price you pay."
  • "Too expensive. There is only 1 indoor skydiving room."
  • "Unique experience but you don't get much for what you pay, we only got to skydive for 2 minutes."
  • "Paid £120 for me and mrs, was absolute rubbish, spent 1 min in the tunnel, literally 1 min."
  • "Not worth the money to wait roughly 1 - 1.5hrs for 2 rounds of flying experience each being 30-40 secs."
  • "For 2 minutes each... So under 2 minutes it cost £60 pounds each. Absolute waste of money and time."

Staff and Instructors

Pros:

  • "Had a session with Christian, great instructor with a great sense of Italian humour."
  • "Professional staff and an amazing instructor who made sure we make the most of it."
  • "Staff from start to finish were excellent, so professional but also friendly in every way."
  • "Really cool staff who are well organised, responsible and fun-loving."
  • "The staff were really friendly and cared about their job even though they do it over and over again."
  • "Staff super helpful and fun to be around."
  • "Great instructor, Anthony, who explained and showed our young ones how to fly in the sky."

Cons:

  • "Booking system is really bad."
  • "The system doesn’t allow for any time delays because they want it to fail to take your voucher."
  • "Disappointed in ifly Milton Keynes they are just not responding as I would expect, very unprofessional."
  • "The manager Tom wasn't helpful either all he said is he can refund or book me on for next week."
  • "The receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all."
  • "Appsolotly Disgusted with our day went. I booked for my sons 16th. Due to a puncher i was 15 minutes late after a 25 mile drive. I explained my situation and how special the day was to be greeted with a very arrogant member of staff."
  • "The most incompetent bunch of people I've had to deal with."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Kids have loved it too and whilst it's quite an expensive visit we've felt it's been great value for money."
  • "Prices are high but when You see what is needed to run the show and the experience You get is well worth it."
  • "Bought as a xmas gift and well worth the money."
  • "A great experience at a reasonable price (I think a special offer was on when I booked)."
  • "The staff were really nice and helpful and it's good value for money."
  • "It is not cheap, but I felt we had good value for money."
  • "We had the best possible time, booked it at such short notice and told them we had plans for an engagement. They done an amazing job! Instructor was well informed and staff at reception were exceptional!"

Cons:

  • "You have to pay £9 per digital photo copy which as a professional photographer I again felt was overpriced considering what you're already paying!"
  • "Do not waste your money here, honestly."
  • "Over priced for what it is .....especially the add on rise up the air bit £10 for 5 seconds come on guys ripping people off."
  • "We got told it was £10 to ‘fly high’ thinking that we would get another minute. But no they took them high in the last 20 seconds on their 2nd minute."
  • "Even paid an extra £14 for more time and again got literally 60 seconds."
  • "The extra costs were absolutely astronomical."
  • "Absolute rip off, cost a significant amount of money to spend literally 2 minutes doing the ‘activity’."

Facilities and Accessibility

Pros:

  • "All necessary gear are provided."
  • "Plentiful parking (but you have to pay) and numerous food and drink outlets for before/after your experience."
  • "Great location, situated in with Snowdome, restaurants, with car parking."
  • "Indoor ski slope next door swim pool and fitness centre also to finish great movie theatre multiple screens."
  • "It is at a big complex where there are numerous shops and eateries, cinema and the skiing centre."
  • "Hire shoes available if needed together with full flying suit."
  • "Safety briefing was suitable and easy to understand for all ages."

Cons:

  • "The one thing I think could be improved would be the signage inside the building."
  • "Circumstances dictated that we had to do this on a Sunday afternoon and hence it was fairly busy. The viewing area around the wind tunnel was particularly busy and, if you worry about distancing, this may concern you."
  • "Only issue is the viewing gallery is small, gets very packed and is uncomfortable."
  • "Be warned that if book using gift experience vouchers you will only have choice of early mornings or late evenings during school holidays and weekends which is not great."
  • "Word of warning - some of the parking machines in the car park are not working properly."
  • "Oh and the place is proper grotty not like the shiny video on the website."
  • "Very disappointing that not every instructor can offer the opportunity to have a high flight."
