  • "The crème brulé which was liquid and grainy."
  • "The gammon was chewy and fatty, the chips were awful."
  • "Food fell short of mediocre, beef was reminiscent of a boiled moccasin and roasties were like leather alien eggs."
  • "The food doesn't live up to expectations. The Chicken Forestiere from the Christmas menu was very dry - inedible in parts."

Cons:

  • "Didn't expect to have to deal with a robot on the phone to take our booking....Is this a burger bar?"

  • "Very poor 17 mins for drinks to be brought even after asking where they were."
  • "Service was extremely slow, clearly insufficient staff."
  • "Food took about 45mins to arrive with no explanation, when it did all of the roasts were not very warm, multiple potatoes were almost raw in the middle and the Yorkshires were in a similar state."
  • "Nobody came to take our order after we waited patiently, so I had to go and find someone from the kitchens as there was nobody about."

Cons:

  • "All in all a very disappointing evening. Poor quality of food and overpriced."
  • "We were shown to our table which had no crackers and was not festive at all."
  • "The only disappointment was the closeness of our table to the next table, we did ask for an alternative but they were fully booked."
  • "Leaves a sour taste in your mouth when an arrogant member of staff talks to you like a child and says there has been a complaint cos your dog has barked a few times."
  • "What a shame this pub has a manager that is patronising and doesn't give a stuff about his customers."
  • "We felt very rushed to leave, the waitress prompting my daughter - 'are you going to play with your toys now?'"
