Customer Service
Pros:
"Always polite and available to help if not too busy."
"Really friendly and helpful service from genuine and honest guys."
"The service was friendly and efficient and the guy I spoke to was super helpful."
"Outstanding customer service from Jameel and his father, being honest and not trying to push you for the expensive stuff, instead, suggesting what I really need!"
"Professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Outstanding customer service."
"They are consistently and unfailingly professional and very warm, friendly and engaging."
"Friendly and courteous service. Thank you so much!"
Cons:
"Lots of talk, very little action. Had my bike for 15 days just to get a quotation for replacing handlebars."
"Since then, no one has reached out to inform me of when I can collect my bike."
"Up until the 1st of July there was good communication and professionalism. That week though, I had paid my deposit and we had arranged that I come pick up my repaired bike, but when I arrived, the shop was closed."
"I have called and emailed: nothing."
"When I picked up my bike it was still dirty and didn’t seem like much had been done to it."
"The shop was empty and they could have seated it for me in less than 10 seconds with their compressor, but they refused."
"I then ask if they can help me sort it out, also stating I will pay for it to make sure there is no misunderstanding. I m told they don't do walk in."
Quality of Work
Pros:
"They did some disassembly, replaced the chain, put things back, adjusted the gears all while I had a coffee across the road at Costa."
"Front and back wheels replaced at a good price. A great workshop."
"Could easily spot the errors I was doing with bike care and showed me how to do it properly."
"Spokes were fixed and wheel was realigned to perfection."
"Chain fixed and gears realigned all within 30 minutes. Truly excellent."
"The work they do is excellent, in my view: clear about what needs to be done; consulting if and when major issues arise; retaining replaced parts; friendly and frank; and responsive to requests when we need a bike back by a certain date."
"Managed to sort out a bent hanger, and a unique situation with mudguard eyelets - both fixes are still solid as a rock 3 months later."
Cons:
"After he saw the back tyre was scraping he decided to change the tyres but rather than giving me a like for like he gave me some used worn and cracked tyres which I refused to accept."
"The tyres flattened in a week and when I put more air in them the back one started scraping the frame."
"The tyres where also too big for the frame so he decreased the pressure instead of changing them for the right size."
"For a bike that he claimed he serviced you can still see muck in the chain, derailleur and other parts."
"The bike still had cobwebs in places that needed to be cleaned and removed if serviced properly in my opinion."
Value and Convenience
Pros:
"It's the only bike shop I've found in the surrounding area that's open until 7pm, hooray!"
"Very fair pricing."
"Every time, the bikes ride really well after the service!"
"Dropped mine off less than 24 hours before and got a text saying it was ready for collection."
"They always endeavour to do whatever work is necessary on my bike and I ride back home the same day but if needs be, they are the ONLY bike servicing business I've ever dealt since I began cycling in around 2004, that I would trust to leave any of my bikes with."
"These guys are both more efficient and cost effective."
"The price of the inner tube, tyre and labour came to £54... an absolute bargain."
Cons:
"Either way your comment really make me stay on my original position.NOT IMPRESSED."
